    Abstract

The final task of this research aims to reduce harmonics on the system by designing an active filter with PI and SPWM kontrol. The design of active filters is simulated by using PSIM software version 9.0.3. Case of study research was conducted by direct measurement on one of the electrical panel in the ICT Directorate UPI building. The simulation results based on the measurements, yielding a value of THD I 84%. By determining the value of the active filter kontrol circuit in such as proportional constant (Kp) 0.18, Integral constant (Ti) 2.25, band pass filter tuned to the center of frequency 50 Hz, Hz frequency passing bands 10000, inveter DC 412 V, R 0.1 Ω, L 825 μH, and C 1000 .The result of the installation of the active filter can reduce value of THD I system from 84% to 5.12%. With this result, the active filter can be regarded as one of filters methode that effective in reducing harmonics.
