    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan menulis karangan pengalaman pribadi siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 3 Lembang tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis karangan pengalaman pribadi siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 3 Lembang sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan média origami, dan membuktikan keefektifan média origami dalam pelajaran menulis karangan pengalaman pribadi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kuasi eksperimen dengan kelas VII B sebagai sumber data dan desain penelitian pretest dan posttest. Variabel yang digunakan, yaitu penggunaan media origami sebagai variabel bebas, nulis karangan pengalaman pribadi sebagai varibel terikat. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu instrumen tes sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media origami. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis t tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, rata-rata hasil menulis karangan pengalaman pribadi siswa kelas VII B sebelum menggunakan media origami yaitu (48,3) belum mencapai standar Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM), sedangkan rata-rata setelah menggunakan media origami adalah (75,9) sudah mencapai standar Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Setelah dilakukan analisis dengan t test diperoleh harga (12,35) > (7,37). Dengan demikian terbukti bahwa media origami dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar menulis karangan pengalaman pribadi pada siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 3 Lembang taun ajaran 2014/2015. This research is based on the lack of writing ability about self experience in the 7th grade B of SMP Negeri 3 Lembang study years 2014/2015. This study was aimed to find out the ability seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Lembang in writing self experience neither before and after using origami as the media, anf to prove the effectivenes of origami in lerning to write self experience. The methode used in this study was quasi experimental study with seventh grade B as the data source and pretest and post-test study design. The variables used in this study were, the use of origami as the independent variable, while writing self experience essay as the dependent variable. The intrument used in collecting data was test intrument before and after using the origami as the media. The data obtained was analyzed using t test analysis. Basaed on the result of the study, the average score of seventh grade B students and writing self experience essay before using origami as the media is (48,3) which means that the student had had not reached the standard scor of KKM, meanwhile average score after using origami as the media is (75,9)means it had reached the standard score of KKM. After conducting the analysis using t-test, the result obtained (12,35)>(7,37), thereby it is proved that origami as the media can improve students score in writing self experience essay in seventh grade B of SMP Negeri 3 Lembang.
