Abstract

Penggunaan model pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru belum tepat dan belum maksimal, hal tersebut mengakibatkan lemahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran seni tari. Lemahnya hasil belajar siswa secara spesifik pada kemampuan pemahaman pola lantai, kemampuan responsif siswa, dan kemampuan menciptakan gerak kreatif. Hal tersebut merupakan hal yang penting dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran seni tari sebelum diterapkan model experiential learning, memperoleh gambaran tentang pembelajaran seni tari menggunakan model experiential learning dan untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model experiential learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan one group pretest-posttest design yang dilakukan di kelas VIII-G SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. Hasil analisis menyatakan nilai rata-rata pretest siswa menunjukkan 68,5, membuktikan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan model experiential learning. Nilai rata-rata proses pembelajaran siswa menunjukkan 79,63, membuktikan adanya peningkatan dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan model experiential learning. Hasil analisis menyatakan nilai rata-rata posttest siswa menunjukkan 82,37, membuktikan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar. Peningkatan posttest terjadi pada dua pertemuan yang dilaksanankan menggunakan model experiential learning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan t hitung  t tabel atau 18,63  1,68709, membuktikan terjadinya peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dari pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan experiential learning dengan pembelajaran menggunakan model experiential learning. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran seni tari menggunakan model experiential learning cukup signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran seni tari. Akhir penelitian menyimpulkan model experiential learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sisiswa pada pembelajaran seni tari di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Lembang The use of learning models carried out by teachers in the learning process has not been appropriate and maximized. It resulted in a lack of learning outcomes in learning dance. Students’ learning outcomes that appear to be weak are shown specifically on the ability of understanding the pattern of the floor, responsive abilities of students, and the ability to create a creative movement. These are important things in learning dance. This study aims to determine the process of learning dance before using experiential learning models, to describes of learning dance process during the use of experiential learning models and to obtain data on students' learning outcomes after using experiential learning models. The method used is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-post-test design that was executed in class VIII-G of SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. The result of the analysis explain on the average value of students in pretest is 68.5, proving the low students’ learning outcomes before using experiential learning models. The result of the analysis on the average value of students during the learning process is 79.63, proving an accumulation in the learning process using experiential learning models. The result of the analysis explian on the average value of students in post-test students is 82.37, proving an increase in learning outcomes. The intensification of learning outcomes occurred in the last two post-test conducted by using experiential learning models. The result showed that tcount >ttable or 18.63 > 1.68709, proving that the occurrence of a significant increase of learning without and with experiential learning models. Thus, learning dance using experiential learning models is significantly enough to improve students’ learning outcomes in learning dance. The research concluded that experiential learning models can improve students’ learning outcomes on learning dance in VIII grade of SMP Negeri 3 Lembang.
