Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi,disiplin, dan patrisipasi siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran akuntansi siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Kabanjahe dan kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tigapanah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode dekskriptif verifikatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Kabanjahe dan kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Tigapanah berjumlah 186 siswa. Sampel yang ditentukan sejumlah 118 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik kuisioner dan teknik dokumentasi. Perhitungan pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program SPSS 21. Teknik pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, disiplin berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, dan partisipasi berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian disarankan untuk mempertahankan prestasi belajar siswa dengan meningkatkan motivasi belajar, melaksanakan disiplin belajar dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar. The research aimed to find the influences of motivation, discipline, and student participation on learning achievement in the subject of accounting among the twelfth grade social science students of State Senior Secondary School 1 Kabanjahe and the twelfth grade social science students of state senior secondary school 1 Tigapanah. The method employed was descriptive verificative. The population in this study were all of State Senior Secondary School 1 Kabanjahe and the twelfth grade social science students of state senior secondary school 1 Tigapanah totaling 186 students. Samples specified number of 118 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaire techniques and engineering documentation. Calculation test this hypotheses using SPSS 21 program. The hypotheses were tested using simple correlational analysis. Research using a simple correlational analysis techniques indicated that motivation influence on learning achievement, discipline influence on learning achievement, and participation influence on learning achievement. Thus it is advisable to maintain student achievement by improving learning motivation, implement the discipline of learning and participate in learning activities to improve learning achievement.
