Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh melemahnya perkembangan pemikiran dan gagasan yang dihasilkan oleh tokoh bangsa mengenai konsep nasionalisme dan demokrasi. Nasionalisme dan demokrasi merupakan aspek penting dalam pembangunan sebuah bangsa. Salah satu tokoh nasional yang memberikan sumbangsih secacara pemikiran tentang nasionalisme dan demokrasi yang sesuai diterapkan di Indonesia adalah Ir. Sukarno. Sebagai bapak bangsa, beliau melahirkan pemikiran yang dikenal dengan sosio-nasionalisme dan sosio-demokrasi. Grand Theory yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori dari Lanur (1983, hlm. 3) yang menyatakan bahwa pemikiran manusia pada hakekatnya mencari dan berusaha untuk memperoleh kebenaran dan di dalam proses tersebut haruslah diperhatikan kebenaran bentuk (formal) untuk dapat berpikir logis. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memperdalam pemikiran bapak bangsa Indonesia yaitu Ir. Sukarno mengenai sosio-nasionalisme & sosio-demokrasi. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode historis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literatur murni, karena permasalahan yang dikaji berasal dari masa lampau yang berbeda zaman dan hanya dapat diteliti melalui literatur yang relevan.Penelitian ini antara lain terdiri dari heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Temuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Sukarno melahirkan pemikiran sosio-nasionalisme & sosio-demokrasi dilatarbelakangi oleh kehidupan pribadi dan kondisi masyarakat sekitarnya. (2) Pokok-pokok pemikiran tentang sosio-nasionalisme & sosio-demokrasi adalah nasionalisme yang menghapuskan penindasan dan penghisapan manusia maupun bangsa. Dan demokrasi yang mencakup keseimbangan antara politik dan ekonomi sebuah bangsa. (3) pemikiran sosio-nasionalisme & sosio-demokrasi perlu dikaji secara mendalam di era kontekstual sebagai upaya pengembalian hakekat nasionalisme dan demokrasi yang sesuai dengan kondisi dan situasi bangsa Indonesia. Di era modern, penjajahan yang terjadi tidak lagi berupa fisik memakai senjata dan pendudukan paksa, melainkan dengan cara-cara tersembunyi melakukan eksploitasi dan intervensi di bidang politik, ekonomi, dan budaya bangsa Indonesia. Kata Kunci : Pemikiran Politik, Sukarno, Sosio-Nasionalisme, Sosio- Demokrasi This research is motivated by the weakening of the development of thinking and ideas generated by the national leader concerning the concept of nationalism and democracy. Nationalism and democracy are the important aspects in country's development. One of the national leaders who contribute on nationalism and democracy ideas that implemented in Indonesia is Ir. Sukarno. As the father of the nation, he sparks thoughts known as socio-nationalism and socio-democratic. Grand Theory that is used in this research is Lanur's theory (1983, p. 3) which states that human thought is essentially seeking and trying to obtain the truth and in the process it must be consider truth in the formal form in regards to think logic. The purpose of this study is to extend Ir. Sukarno's thought on socio-nationalism and socio-democratic. This study uses qualitative research design with historical method. Researcher uses fine literature due to research problem that is happened in the past, therefore the data collection observed through the relevant literature. This study consists of heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Furthermore, the findings are (1) Sukarno sparks thought on socio-nationalism and socio-democratic motivated by personal life and surrounding environment. (2) Principles thinking on socio-nationalism and socio-democratic is the nationalism that is eliminated oppression and exploitation of man and nation. And democracy which includes a balance between politics and economics of a nation. (3) Thought on socio-nationalism and socio-democracy needs an extension study in the contextual era as an effort to return the essence of nationalism and democracy in accordance with the conditions and the situation of the Indonesian nation. In the modern era, the colonization that is occurred is no longer in the form of physical wear guns and forced occupation, but in the ways hidden exploitation and intervention in politics, economics, and culture of Indonesia.
