Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas X1 SMAN 1 Lembang pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang mendapat perlakuan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem based learning) dan inkuiri terbimbing (guide inquiry) Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan bentuk nonequivalent pretest-post test control group design. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 21 untuk mengguji hipotesis penelitian. Hipotesis di uji dengan menggunakan statistik parametik, paired samples t-test, independent samples t-test, gain score, dan perhitungan effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Pembelajaran Berbasis masalah (Problem Based Learning) dan metode Inkuiri Terbimbing (Guided Inquiry) pada kelas eksperimen. Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir Kreatif siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning) dan metode Inkuiri Terbimbing (Guided Inquiry) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan Metode konvensional (Ceramah). Tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning) dibandingkan dengan Metode kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Metode Inkuiri terbimbing (Guided Inquiry). Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem based learning) dan inkuiri terbimbing (guide inquiry) sebagai metode pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. The purpose of this study was to know increase abilities of student's creative thinking who received the treatment method of problem-based learning and guided inquiry. The study design used was quasi experiment with forms of nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data analysis using SPSS version 21 for research hypotheses test. The hypothesis tested using parametric statistics, paired samples t-test, independent samples t-test, gain score, and the calculation of effect size. The results showed there were differences in the ability of student's creative thinking before and after learning by using problem-based learning methods and inquiry Guided methods in the experimental class. There are differences in improvement abilities of student's creative thinking between the experimental class using Problem Based Learning and Guided inquiry method is higher than the control class that uses a conventional method (Lecture). But there is no difference increase abilities of student's creative thinking between the experimental class using Problem Based Learning method compared with the experimental class method that uses a guided inquiry method. The results of this study recommend the problem-based learning methods and guided inquiry method as a method of learning to improve ability of student's creative thinking.
