Abstract
Seiring bertambahnya kebutuhan energi listrik,diperlukan pula sumber energi alternatifsebagai tambahan energi listrik agar kebutuhan energi listrik tersebut dapat terpenuhi. Sumber energi alternatif ini juga sangat dibutuhkan terutama daerah pelosok yang sulit dijangkau sumber listrik utama.Hal tersebut menjadi salah satu penyebab harus tersedianya sumber energi listrik yang tak terbatas dan mudah dalam pembangunan serta pengelolaannya. Salah satu sumber energi alternatif, tak terbatas dan mudah dalam pengelolaannya adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin. Studi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin ini dilaksanakan di PT Lentera Angin Nusantara desa Ciheras Tasikmalaya. Daerah ini merupakan pesisir pantai selatan Jawa Barat, memiliki kondisiangincukupbaiksebagailokasipengembangandanpengujianturbinangin.Tujuan dari studi ini yaitu untuk mengetahui spesifikasi turbin angin The Sky Dancer – 500 (TSD-500), sistem turbin angin serta energi yang dihasilkan turbin angin PT. Lentera Angin Nusantara selama 2 bulan. Selain itu studi ini juga membahas mengenai aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin PT.Lentera Angin Nusantara.Penelitian dilakukan meggunakan metode eksperi mental dengan pendekatan kuantitatif.Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi pengamatan (observasi), wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi.Hasil dari studi ini ditemukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi energi dari turbin angin,diantaranya faktor eksternal seperti ketinggian tempat dan kondisi lingkungan. Faktor-faktor tersebut yang secara langsung mempengaruhi kecepatan hembusan angin yang didapatkan turbin. Serta faktor internal yaitu ketepatan dalam membuat sistem turbin angin (tipe baling-baling serta generator yang digunakan) dan efesiensi dari turbin serta sistem turbin angin tersebut.Dari6 buah turbin angin, data kecepatan angin terendahya itu 3m/s dan tertinggi 12 m/sselama 2 bulan (Desember 2014 dan Januari 2015) Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin PT. Lentera Angin Nusantara menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 182.408 kWh. As the needs of electrical energy increase, alternative energy sources also required as an addition to fulfill the needs of electrical energy. Alternative energy sources are also needed, especially for remote areas that are difficult to reach by the main power source. It became one of the causes so that electrical energy sources which are infinite and easy in development and management should be available. One of the alternative energy sources, which are limitless and easy to administer is Wind Power. Wind Power Study was conducted in PT.LenteraAngin Nusantara, CiherasTasikmalaya. This area is the south coast of West Java, which has a good wind conditions as a location for the development and testing of wind turbines. The aim of this study is to determine the specifications of The Sky Dancer - 500 (TSD-500) wind turbine, the wind turbine system and the energy produced by wind turbines in PT. Lentera Angin Nusantara for 2 months. Besides, the study also discusses the aspects that affect the peformance of wind power plant in PT. Lentera Angin Nusantara. Research will be undertaken receipts experimental method with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and documentation study. Results of the study found the factors that influence the production of energy from wind turbines, including external factors such as altitude and environmental conditions. These factors directly affect to the speed that wind turbines obtained. As well as internal factors, namely the accuracy in making wind turbine system (type of propeller and generator which is used)and the efficiency of the turbine and the wind turbine system.From 6 wind turbines, the lowest wind speed data is 3 m/s and the highest is 12 m/s for 2 months (December 2014 and January 2015). Wind Power Plant of PT. Lentera Angin Nusantara produces 182.408 kWh of electrical energy.
