Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terdapatnya kenakalan remaja yang sangat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh aksesibilitas fasilitas belajar dan keadaan sosial ekonomi keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar siswa jurusan Teknik Pendingin di SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling sebanyak 30 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket tertutup. Hasil Penelitian ini mengungkapkan aksesibilitas fasilitas belajar siswa pada kategori kuat (65,67%), keadaan sosial ekonomi keluarga pada kategori kuat (66,56%), dan motivasi belajar siswa pada kategori kuat (61,43%). Kesimpulannya adalah aksesibilitas fasilitas belajar dan keadaan sosial ekonomi keluarga tidak dapat dibuktikan berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, karena keadaan sosial ekonomi keluarga tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan. Adapun faktor pendukung motivasi belajar dalam penelitian ini yang memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan yaitu aksesibilitas fasilitas belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa fasilitas belajar yang sudah ada di sekolah harus dipelihara dengan sebaik mungkin oleh pendidik maupun siswa dan diusahakan adanya penambahan fasilitas belajar untuk ke depannya. Begitu pula dengan fasilitas yang sudah ada di rumah/kostan, dapat lebih ditingkatkan lagi dengan cara melakukan konsultasi terhadap orang tua. This research was backgrounded by the presence of teenager delinquency which greatly affects their motivation to study. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of accessibility of study facilities and condition of family sosio-economic to student motivation of study in Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Techniques at SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi. The method used is quantitative method by simple random sampling technique with 30 respondents of sampling. The research instrument using a private questionnaire. The results of this research reveal the accessibility of study facilities in the good category (65.67%), condition of family socio-economic in the good category (66.56%), and student motivation of study in the good category (61.43%). The conclusion is the accessibility of study facilities and condition of family socio-economic can not be proven effect to student motivation of study, because the socio-economic situation does not have a significant effect. The factors supporting study motivation in this research that provides significant effect is the accessibility of study facilities. Based on the research that study facilities that already exist in the school should be preserved as well as possible by educators and students and sought the addition of study facilities for the future. Similarly, the existing study facilities in the house/boarding house can be further enhanced by conducting consultations to parents.
