Abstract

Hotel pada hakekatnya adalah industry jasa atau tempat yang menyediakan pelayanan kamar, makanan dan minuman untuk umum yang mana dikelola secara komersil. Standard Operating Procedure menjadi bagian penting dalam mengatur langkah – langkah dalam proses kerja guna tujuan yang sama. Untuk memaksimalkan kinerja karyawan di Departemen Food and Beverage Service. Grand Aston city Hall Medan menerapkan kepada para karyawan Standard Operating Procedure yang sudah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi gambaran penerapan Standard Operating Procedure di Departemen Food and Beverage Service terhadap karyawan dengan mengukur kinerja karyawan dalam penerapan Standard Operating Procedure. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan cara penelitian menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana. populasi dalam penelitdan tempatian ini yaitu karyawan di Departemen Food and Beverage Service Grand Aston City Hall Medan. Sedangkan sampel yang diambil seluruh karyawan sebanyak 54 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan Standard Operating Procedure berpengaruh sebesar 10.1 % terhadap kinerja karyawan, sementara 90,9% di pengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya yang tidak di teliti. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan Standard Operating Procedure berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dan penerapan Standard Operating procedure dapat ditingkatkan lagi. Saran untuk pihak pengelola hotel Grand Aston City Hall Medan agar dapat lebih ketat dalam pengawasan penerapan Standard Operating Procedure.Agar tidak terjadinya beraneka ragam standard yang dilakukan karyawan. Hotel essentially is a service industry that provided room service, Food and Beverage Service for public which managed commercially. Standard Operating Procedure be a important thing to arrange steps in work process for same destination. to maximize employee performance in Department Food and Beverage Service, Grand Aston City Hall Medan . this research use descriptive method with quantitative approach by means of research using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression technique. The population in this research is employee in food and beverage service department, grand aston city hall medan. While the sample of 54 respondents taken. The resultsindicate that the influence of application standard operating procedure to employee performance is 10,1% while the other 90,9% is influenced by other factors that not examined in this research.. This thing was showed that application standard operating procedure give a positive effect for performance of employee and application standard operating procedure can be more increase. And suggestion for Grand Aston City Hall Medan manegement can be more firm for surveilance of application standard operating procedure , it is for decreasing of application Standard Operating Procedure which can be variate
