Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran pada materi sel volta menggunakan konteks baterai ion-litium untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa SMA. Desain penelitian ini adalah Sequential Mixed Method. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua fase, masing-masing fase menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Fase I bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia yang direpresentasi dari bahan ajar. Fase II bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai kelayakan multimedia dari segi penilaian desain instruksional dan tanggapan siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah human instrument yang dituangkan dalam catatan pengembangan multimedia, angket penilaian guru dan angket tanggapan siswa. Dalam pengembangan multimedia, penelitian ini mengadaptasi model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) Elemen media yang sesuai dengan teks pencemaran lingkungan dan konteks baterai ion-litium direpresentasikan ke dalam bentuk tayangan video. Pokok materi contoh reaksi spontan dan konten sel volta direpresentasikan dalam bentuk animasi. Materi pengertian baterai ion litium direpresentasi ke dalam bentuk tampilan grafis tak bergerak, sedangkan isi teks lainnya dalam bahan ajar direpresentasikan ke dalam multimedia pembelajaran dengan bahasa yang singkat, padat dan jelas tanpa mengurangi makna. (2) Berdasarkan hasil angket penilaian guru, bahwa multimedia pembelajaran dinilai dari segi desain instruksional telah memenuhi prinsip pembelajaran dengan sangat baik, kriteria prinsip pembelajaran meliputi aspek meningkatkan perhatian, menginformasikan tujuan pembelajaran, merangsang pengetahuan awal siswa, menampilkan isi, menyediakan panduan belajar, meningkatkan kinerja dan mengukur hasil belajar dinilai sangat baik serta aspek menyediakan umpan balik dinilai baik, (3) Hasil ujicoba terbatas menunjukkan bahwa hampir seluruh siswa (79,9%) termotivasi belajar dengan menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hampir seluruh siswa (82,5%) dapat mengontrol multimedia pembelajaran dengan sangat baik dan memberikan tanggapan yang baik terhadap multimedia pembelajaran. This study aims to produce an instructional multimedia on the voltaic cell content using lithium-ion batteries context for improving scientific literacy of high school students. The design of this study is sequential mixed method. The study was conducted in two phases. Each phase using qualitative and quantitative methods. The first phase aims to produce multimedia which is represented from learning materials. The second phase aims to obtain the information of multimedia appropriateness in terms of instructional design assessment and students response. The instrument of this study is human instrument which contained into multimedia development records, questionnaire of teacher assessment and questionnaire of students response. Multimedia development of this study adapt the model ADDIE. Study results are (1) media elements that match the text of environmental pollution and lithium-ion batteries context is represented in the form of video. The subject of the example of spontaneous reaction and voltaic cell content is represented in the form of animation. The subject of the definition of lithium-ion batteries is represented in the form of static graphic. While, the others text in the learning materials is represented in multimedia using the language that concise, solid and clear without eliminate the meaning text. (2) The results of teacher assessment questionnaire are instructional multimedia assessed in terms of instructional design has complied instructional principle with a very good. The criteria of instructional principle include aspects of gain attention, inform students of the objectives, stimulate recall of prior learning, present the content, provide learning guidance, eliciting performance and assess learning performance assessed very good as well as the aspect of providing feedback is assessed good. (3) The results of questionnaire of students respons showed almost all of the students (79,9%) are motivated to learn by using instructional multimedia. Almost all of the students (82,5%) able to control the instructional multimedia with very good and give good feedback to instructional multimedia
