Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empirik perbedaan sikap fair play antara siswa putra dan putri yang mengikuti pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler permainan sepakbola. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler permainan sepakbola sebanyak 32 orang. Pengambilan sampel diperoleh melalui teknik total sampling (semua anggota populasi menjadi sampel). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi dalam bentuk lembar observasi dari Nuryadi (dalam Rukmana, 2014, hlm. 19). Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan uji beda dua rata-rata (uji t) satu pihak dengan taraf nyata 0,05 dan derajat kebebasan (dk) = 30. Hasil perhitungan didapat t hitung (0,453) lebih kecil daripada (<) t tabel (1,697), maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak dengan kata lain tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sikap fair play antara siswa putra dan putri yang mengikuti pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler permainan sepakbola, akan tetapi rata-rata siswa putri lebih besar daripada siswa putra yaitu 64,33:62,88 dapat dikatakan bahwa sikap fair play siswa putri lebih besar daripada siswa putra. Rekomendasi yang dapat penulis kemukakan berkaitan dengan hasil penelitian ini adalah bagi peneliti khususnya dan bagi para pembaca pada umumnya agar dapat lebih meningkatkan sikap fair play siswa putra dalam mengikuti pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler permainan sepakbola. This study aimed to empirically examine the differences in fair play attitude between male and female students who join a football/soccer extracurricular training program. Using a descriptive method of analysis, the present research studied a population of 32 students who participated in the extracurricular football training. Samples were obtained through the total sampling technique (all members of the population were used as sample). The data collection technique used in this study was observation and the instrument as in the form of observation sheets adopted from Nuryadi (in Rukmana, 2014: 19). The data analysis and processing techniques were two different test of average (t-test) on each group of the sample with the real level of 0.05 and the degree of freedom (df) = 30. the calculation result showed the t-count (0.453) was smaller than (<) the t table (1.697), therefore the H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected. In other words, there was no significant difference in the attitude of fair play between male and female students who joined the extracurricular training program. However, the average of the female student group (64.33) was higher than the male’s (62. 88). This means that the attitude of fair play exercised by the female students was greater than the males’. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended that the attitude of fair play of male students is to be improved through participating in in extracurricular football training.
