Abstract

Berlatar belakang mulai pudarnya bahasa Sunda di Jawa Barat, karena kurangnya pembinaan dari orang tua untuk berbahasa daerah dalam keluarganya, serta pengaruh arus teknologi dan komunikasi sehingga mengancam hilangnya kedudukan dan fungsi bahasa daerah sebagai identitas bangsa. Upaya untuk melestarikan bahasa Ibu, melalui implementasi pembelajaran bahasa Sunda di Taman Kanak-Kanak, bertujuan membantu anak didik mengenal dirinya dan budaya Sunda, serta meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Sunda. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pembelajaran bahasa Sunda di TK Negeri Pembina Citarip yang meliputi : (1) perencanaan; (2) pelaksanaan; (3) penilaian; dan (4) kendala/solusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian, bahwa: (1) perencanaan disusun kedalam Promes, SKM, dan RKH; (2) pelaksanaan setiap hari Rabu, bahasa pengantar bahasa Sunda; (3) penilaian melalui observasi dan percakapan; (4) kendala berkaitan dengan bahan/materi, kemampuan anak dalam bahasa Sunda, dan pihak orang tua. Kesimpulan akhir bahwa, melalui implementasi pembelajaran bahasa Sunda di TK Negeri Pembina Citarip anak dapat menerapkan adat budaya Sunda dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, anak dapat berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Sunda, serta menanamkan rasa bangga dengan budaya Sunda. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada: (1) guru: untuk selalu konsisten dalam pengembangan program dengan berbahasa Sunda (2) pihak sekolah; diadakannya lomba pidato berbahasa Sunda untuk orang tua (3) orang tua: mau bekerjasama dengan pihak sekolah (4) peneliti selanjutnya untuk lebih mengembangkan program pembelajaran bahasa Sunda dengan metode lain yang lebih kreatif. The background of this research was began fading Sundanese in West Java, because the lack of guidance from parents to speak local languages in the family, as well as the influence of technology and communication flows that threaten the loss of the position and function of local languages as national identity. Efforts to preserve the mother language, through the implementation of Sundanese language learning in kindergarten, aimed at helping students know themselves and Sundanese culture, and improve the ability to speak Sundanese. This study describes the Sundanese language learning in Pembina Citarip Kindergarten which includes: (1) planning; (2) implementation; (3) assessment; and (4) problems / solutions. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Retrieval of data through observation, interviews, and documentary study were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study, that: (1) planning compiled into Promes, SKM, and RKH; (2) the implementation of each Wednesday, Sundanese language of instruction; (3) assessment through observation and conversation; (4) the constraints associated with the substance / material, the ability of children in Sundanese, and the parents. The final conclusion, that are through the implementation of Sundanese language learning in kindergarten children Citarip Pembina State can apply custom Sundanese culture in everyday life, children can communicate in Sundanese, and instill a sense of pride in Sundanese culture. This study recommends to: (1) the teacher: to always be consistent in the development of programs with Sundanese (2) the school; holding of Sundanese language speech contest for parents (3) parents: to cooperate with the school (4) further research to further develop Sundanese language learning programs with other, more creative methods.
