Abstract
Praktik Kerja Industri merupakan pola penyelenggaraan diklat yang dikelola bersama-sama antara SMK dengan industri maupun institusi pasangan yang bertujuan untuk memenuhi kompetensi sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum, implementasi kompetensi di dunia kerja dan penumbuhan etos kerja agar lulusan siap menghadapi dunia kerja sejak dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program praktik kerja industri pada program keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB)di SMK Negeri 2 Garut sehingga diketahui sejauh mana program prakerin sudah terlaksana. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah ModelGoal Oriented Evaluation. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 orang Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Hubungan Industri dan Masyarakat, 1 orang Ketua Program Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan, 5 orang Instruktur Industri dan Siswa kelas XII Program Keahlian TGB yang telah melaksanakan prakerin sebanyak 34 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara dan angket.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pada perencanaan program praktik kerja industri di SMKN 2 Garut mengacu pada pedoman prakerin oleh Direktorat Pembinaan SMK sebagian besar sudah dilaksanakan. Namun pada tahapan koordinasi perencanaan waktu pelaksanaan dengan industri dan diskusi akhir belum dapat terlaksana.Sedangkan pelaksanaan program prakerin oleh siswa dan industri ditinjau dari aspek desain program, implementasi program dan evaluasi program terlaksana dalam kategori baik. Practical Work in Industry is a pattern of education and training that is managed jointly between Vocational School with industry or couple vocational institution which aim to 1) fulfil the demands of competence in accordance with the curriculum, 2) implemente the competence in world work and 3) to emerge the work ethic in order to encounter the work early for the graduated student. The purpose of this study was to discover an overview of the planning and implementation of practical work in industry program in Architecture Engineering (TGB) in SMK Negeri 2 Garut, then knowing how far the program has been implemented. This study is using descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The evaluation model is using Goal Oriented Evaluation Model. Respondents in this study is The Vice Principal of Industry and Public Relations, The Head of Architecture Engineering Expertise, 5 industry instructors and 34 students of class XII who have implemented the practical work in industry. Data was collected by interview and questionnaire. Based on the survey results that revealed the planning stage of practical work in industry program in SMKN 2 Garut which refers to the guidelines by the Directorate of Vocational largely has been implemented. However, at the stage of time planning coordination with the industry and final discussion can not be done. While the implementation of the practical work in industry program by students and also the industries in terms of aspects of design program, implementation and evaluation have implemented in good categories.
