Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui seberapa besar perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara yang menggunakan media pembelajaran video dan animasi pada materi memvakum dan mengisi refrigeran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan sampel kelas X Teknik Pendingin A dan X Teknik Pendingin B. Kedua sampel diberi pre test kemudian diberi treatment berupa pembelajaran menggunakan media animasi pada kelas X Teknik Pendingin A dan media video pada kelas X Teknik Pendingin B. Setelah pemberian treatment, selanjutnya kedua sampel diberi post test menggunakan soal yang memiliki indikator serupa dengan pre test namun telah dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pada aspek kognitif. Sementara itu, hasil belajar pada aspek psikomotor dan afektif terdapat perbedaan dimana hasil belajar siswa aspek psikomotor yang menggunakan media video memiliki Indeks Prestasi Kelompok lebih tinggi 7 % daripada yang menggunakan media animasi dan hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif yang menggunakan media video memiliki Indeks Prestasi Kelompok lebih tinggi 4 % daripada yang menggunakan media animasi. Kata kunci: video pembelajaran, animasi pembelajaran, hasil belajar. This study aims to determine how much difference the student learning outcomes between the use of instructional media video and animation on vacuuming and filling refrigerant material. The method used in this study is a quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample of class X Engineering Refrigeration A and X Engineering Refrigeration B. Both samples were given a pre-test was then given a treatment in the form of learning using the animation media on class X Engineering Refrigeration A and video media on class X Engineering Refrigeration B. After given treatment, both sample was given a post-test using questions that have similar indicators with pre-test but has been modified. The results showed no difference in the cognitive aspects of learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the results of study on psychomotor and affective aspects where there is a difference in student learning outcomes psychomotor aspects of the use of video media group has a higher achievement group index than the 7% who use the animation media and affective aspects of student learning outcomes that are using video media group has achievement group index over 4% higher than those using the medium of animation.
