Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kompensasi Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Guru di SMA Swasta Se-Kota Cimahi”. Permasalahan yang ingin dibahas dalam penelitian ini menyangkut kompensasi dan pengaruhnya terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMA Swasta Se-Kota Cimahi. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran yang jelas mengenai pengaruh kompensasi terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMA Swasta Se-Kota Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru yaitu berjumlah 250 orang guru, dan untuk sampel penelitiannya sebanyak 71 orang guru. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan rumus Weighted Means Score (WMS), diperoleh gambaran umum variabel X (Kompensasi) berada pada kategori sangat baik, dengan skor rata-rata 4,03. Sementara gambaran umum variabel Y (Disiplin Kerja Guru) berada pada kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,98. Hasil uji normalitas terhadap distribusi data menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi dan disiplin kerja guru berdistibusi normal, selanjutnya analisis data menggunakan statistik parametik, yaitu dengan analisis korelasi, uji signifikansi, uji koefisien determinasi dan analisis regresi. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,466 berada dalam kategori cukup kuat dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 21,71%. Adapun hasil uji signifikansi dengan uji-t diperoleh t_hitung = 4,377 dan diketahui nilai t_tabel= 1,667, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kompensasi dan disiplin kerja guru. begitu juga hasil analisis regresi diperoleh persamaan yaitu Ŷ = 29,243 + 0,466X, artinya bahwa setiap perubahan satu unit pada kompensasi akan meningkat 0,466 pada disiplin kerja guru dengan arah perubahan positif. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian statistik secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja guru di SMA Swasta Se-Kota Cimahi. This research was titled “Influence Of Compensation On The Discipline of Teacher Working in Private Senior High School at Cimahi City”. The problems to be discussed in this research concerning about compensation and its impact on work discipline in private senior high school at cimahi city. Commonly, this research aims to determine good explaining about the efeect of compensation on discipline of teacher working in senior high schools at cimahi city. The method of this research used descriptive method with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The population in this research are teachers amounted to 250 teachers, and for researcch samples were 71 teachers. Based on calculation of Weighted Means Score (WMS) formula, provide a general description of X variable (compensation) is very good category, with an average score of 4,03. While the general explaining about Y variable (teachers work discipline) are in the good category with an average score of 3,98. Normality test results on the distribution of the data showed that compensation and teacher work discipline normally distributed,subsequent data analysis, significance test, determination coefficient test and regression analysis. Calculation results of correlation coefficient is 0,466 quite enough category with determination coefficient of 21,71%. As for the significance of test results obtained t test t_hitung = 4,377 And the known value of t_tabel= 1,667, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between compensation and teachers work discipline as well as the results regression analysis equation is Ŷ = 29,243 + 0,466X, meaning that any changes to one unit on the compensation will be increased 0,466 on teacher work discipline with the direction of positive change, based on the overall results of statistical tests can be concluded that compensation positive and significant impact on teachers work disicipline in private senior high school at Cimahi City.
