Abstract

Integrasi Nilai-nilai Pendidikan Surau dalam Transformasi Kewarganegaraan untuk Mengembangkan Karakter Siswa. (Studi Deskriptif di SMP Perguruan Islam Ar-Risalah) Integrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sudah seharusnya menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi dunia pendidikan saat ini. Salah satu nilai kearifan lokal yang harus dikembangkan ialah nilai-nilai pendidikan surau. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mengetahui nilai-nilai pendidikan surau menurut perspektif tokoh agama, tokoh adat dan cendikiawan Minangkabau; (2) Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pelaksanaan integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan surau dalam pembelajaran PKn; (3) Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pelaksanaan integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan surau dalam muatan lokal mentoring; (4) Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan surau dalam budaya sekolah, dan (5) Mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi dan upaya penyelesaian dalam melaksanakan integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan surau di SMP Perguruan Islam Ar-Risalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Berbagai teknik pengumpulan data digunakan dalam menghimpun data yang dibutuhkan, yaitu teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tokoh agama, tokoh adat dan cendikiawan Minangkabau, kepala sekolah, wakil kurikulum, guru PKn, kepala pengasuhan, pembina asrama (musyrif), mentor, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa (1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan dalam pendidikan surau dikelompokkan menjadi olah hati, olah rasa, olah pikir dan olah raga yang terdiri dari 21 nilai yang didukung oleh ungkapan pepatah-petitih Minangkabau; (2) Nilai-nilai pendidikan surau telah terintegrasi dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran PKn; (3) Nilai-nilai pendidikan surau telah diintegrasikan dalam muatan lokal mentoring; (4) Integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan surau dalam budaya sekolah tergambar dari kegiatan rutin sholat berjamaah disertai kultum setelah sholat, lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif serta keteladanan dari guru dan karyawan sekolah; (5) Kendala dalam pengintegrasian nilai-nilai pendidikan surau ialah perbedaan pola asuh siswa di rumah dengan pola asuh di sekolah dan pergantian guru dan pembina asrama (musyrif) dan upaya untuk menanggulangi itu dengan membangun kejasama yang baik dengan orang tua dan merekrut guru baru yang berkualitas. Nilai-nilai pendidikan surau secara substansial telah terintegrasi dalam pola pendidikan karakter yang dilakukan di SMP Perguruan Islam Ar-risalah. Oleh karena itu, kepada pihak-pihak terkait, khususnya kepada guru, musyrif dan mentor agar senantiasa mengoptimalkan kemampuannya dalam mendidik dan membina siswa agar dapat mengembangkan karakter siswa menjadi smart and good citizens serta pada peneliti berikutnya agar meneliti pelaksanaan nilai-nilai pendidikan surau pada Badan Eksekutif Siswa Ar-Risalah. Integration of Values of Surau Education in Citizenship Transformation for Developing Students Character. (Descriptive Study at Islam Ar-Risalah Junior High School College ) Integgrating values of local wisdom is supposed to be one of the solutions to overcome the challenges which are faced by education today. One of the local moral values that should be developed is the values of surau education. Therefore, in this study aims to: (1) Elicit the values according to the perspective of surau education from the religious leaders’, traditional leaders’ and Minangkabau scholars’ point of views; (2) Describe and analyze the implementation of the integration values of surau in learning civics subject; (3) Describe and analyze the implementation of the integration of values education surau in mentoring as independent subject (subject which is not obligatory by government but can be obligated by the respective school): 4) Describe and analyze the integration of values of surau education in school culture (5) Knowing the obstacles encountered and the efforts of completing the implementing the integrating of values of surau education at islam Ar-Risalah junior high school. This study uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods. Several types of data collection techniques used to collect the required data. They are interview, observation, and study documentation. The subjects in this research consist of religious leaders, traditional leaders and Minangkabau scholars, principals, vice principal for curriculum, civic teachers, head of nurturing, dormitory supervisors (mushrifs), mentors, and students. The results of the study reveale that (1) the character values which developed in surau education grouped into the heart, sense, mind and physical exercise consisting of 21 values supported by the proverbial phrase-Minangkabau proverb; (2) values of surau education has been integrated in planning, implementing and evaluating of learning the civic subject; (3) The values of surau education has been integrated in mentoring; (4) the integrating of the values of surau education in the school surau is in a routine activity of praying (shalat) in congregation, kultum or preaching in seven minute after praying, conducive school environment and exemplary teachers and school employees; (5)There are some obstacles in the integrating of values of surau education in Ar Risalah. The first is there are the differences in the process of nurturing students at home with the process of nurturing in the school. The second is the replacement of teachers and the supervisors of dormitories (mushrif). The way to solve it is to build a good partnership with parents and recruit new teachers who have good qualification. The values of surau education are substantially integrated into the pattern of character education which is conducted in Islamic Ar-Risalah junior high school. Therefore, the relevant parties, especially the teachers, and mentors and mushrifs to always optimize their ability to educate and nurture students in order to beable to develop students character to be a smart and good citizens also to the next researcher to do study about implemented values of surau education in Ar-Risalah students excecutive board
