Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan teori siswa terhadap kemampuan praktik siswa pada mata pelajaran peralatan dan bahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis korelasional dengan teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan teori siswa maupun kemampuan praktik siswa dikategorikan tinggi. Hasil Penelitian yang diperoleh adalah terdapat pengaruh yang kuat antara kemampuan teori terhadap kemampuan praktik siswa dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0.617. Besarnya determinasi pengaruh kemampuan teori adalah sebesar 38% terhadap kemampuan praktik pada mata pelajaran peralatan dan bahan refrigerasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka jelaslah bahwa kemampuan teori siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan praktik siswa pada mata pelajaran peralatan dan bahan refrigerasi. The general purpose of this research is to know the effect of the students’ theoritical abilities to its practical at refrigeration equipment and materials subject. This research uses descriptive correlational analysis with study documentation as data collection techniques. The result of the research show that theoritical abilities and also practical abilities on high category. The result of the reseach shows that there is an strong effect between theoritical abilities to students’ practical abilities with a correlation value of 0.617. The amount of contribution effect from theoritical abilities is 38% to students’ practical abilities. Based on the research, it is clear that students’ theoritical abilities could increase its practical at refrigeration equipment and materials subject.
