Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan penulis terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Experience Learning Cycle dari awal hingga akhir proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan pengalaman sebagai sarana belajar untuk mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam proses pembelajaran pada peserta pelatihan manajemen bagi pendamping masyarakat yang berdasarkan pada pengalaman peserta sebagai pendamping masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk memperoleh : 1) Gambaran tentang persepsi alumni pelatihan terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran ELC; 2) Gambaran tentang motivasi alumni mengikuti penerapan model pembelajaran ELC; 3) Gambaran tentang pemanfaatan penerapan model pembelajaran ELC yang dilakukan oleh alumni pelatihan manajemen bagi pendamping masyarakat di Balai Besar Pengembangan dan Perluasan Kerja Lembang. Penelitian ini didukung oleh gagasan konseptual teoritis teantang: Konsep efektivitas, model pembelajaran Experiencel Learning Cycle, dan Pelatihan. Responden penelitian ini adalah alumni pelatihan manajemen bagi pendamping masyarakat di Balai Besar Pengembangan dan Perluasan Kerja Lembang sebanyak 80 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Alat pengumpul data penelitian menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa : 1) Model pembelajaran ELC dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pelatihan. Alumni pelatihan menyatakan, bahwa model pembelajaran ELC digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan kompetensi dalam pelatihan manajemen bagi pendamping masyarakat.2) Motivasi peserta pelatihan mengikuti model pembelajaran ELC dinilai baik. Tingginya motivasi baik instrinsik maupun ekstrinsik, menjadi pendorong utama dalam mengikuti program pelatihan. 3) Hasil pelatihan telah dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh alumni. Pemanfaatan tersebut dilakukan dalam hal peningkatan kapasitas pada kelompok usaha binaan, melalui penataan organisasi, serta program kelompok. Hal lain yang masih belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal adalah kebiasaan dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah kelompok usaha binaan. Kata kunci: Experience Learning Cycle, Pelatihan, pendamping masyarakat This research is motivated by interest in the author of the application of learning models Experience Learning Cycle from beginning to end the process of learning to use the experience as a learning tool to develop the skills of participants in the learning process in management training for community care that is based on the experiences of participants as community care . The purpose of this study is to obtain : 1 ) A description of the alumni perception training on the application of learning models ELC ; 2 ) The description of the motivations of alumni follow ELC application of learning models ; 3 ) A description of the use of the application of the learning model ELC performed by alumni of management training for community care at the Center for Development and Expansion Work Lembang . This research was supported by a theoretical conceptual ideas teantang : The concept of effectiveness , learning models Experiencel Learning Cycle , and Training . Respondents are alumni of management training for community care at the Center for Development and Expansion Work Lembang many as 80 people . The method used in this research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach . Research data collection tool using a questionnaire . The results of this study found that : 1 ) learning model ELC considered effective in improving the knowledge and skills of the trainees . Alumni of training stated that ELC learning model used in the learning process can improve competence in management training for counterpart community.2 ) Motivation of trainees following the ELC learning model is considered good . The high intrinsic and extrinsic motivation either , be a key driver in the training program . 3 ) The results of the training has been put to good use by alumni. Utilization is done in terms of increasing the capacity of the target group , through the reform of the organization , as well as group programs . Another thing that has not been used optimally is a habit and group problem-solving skills fostered . Keywords : Experience Learning Cycle , training , community care
