Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena perilaku seksual yang terjadi di kalangan remaja, sehingga diperlukan analisis dari perspektif perkembangan melalui pusat kendali (locus of control) sebagai salah satu aspek kepribadian siswa yang memungkinkan untuk diberikan intervensi apabila terbukti ada hubungan. Penelitian bertujuan: (1) memperoleh gambaran pusat kendali (locus of control), (2) memperoleh gambaran perilaku seksual, dan (3) mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan antara pusat kendali (locus of control) dengan perilaku seksual siswa kelas XI SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung Tahun 2013/2014. Responden dalam penelitian sebanyak 107 siswa mewakili jenis kelamin laki-laki (45 siswa) dan perempuan (62 siswa). Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu metode korelasional dengan alat pengumpul data berupa questionnaire pusat kendali (locus of control) dan perilaku seksual. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis statistika non-parametrik koefisien kontingensi dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefesien kontingensi sebesar 2.02, sedangkan X²3;0,05 = 7.81 sehingga X²hitung < X²1;0,05, yaitu 2.02 < 3,84, artinya tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pusat kendali (locus of control) dengan perilaku seksual siswa kelas XI SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung Tahun 2013/2014. Rekomendasi penelitian dapat dilakukan pengembangan pusat kendali (locus of control) siswa menjadi lebih positif dan objektif sehingga mampu menghasilkan persepsi yang benar terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan dalam kehidupan.

The study was motivated by the phenomenon of sexual behavior that occurs among adolescents, so that the necessary analysis from the perspective of development through locus of control as one of the aspects of personality that allows students to be given if it is proven there is a relationship intervention. Research aims: (1) obtain a locus of control, (2) obtain a picture of sexual behavior, and (3) determine how much the correlation between locus of control with the sexual behavior of students of class XI SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung year 2013/2014. Respondents in the study were 107 students represent the male gender (45 students) and female (62 students). The research method is correlation method by means of a questionnaire for collecting data locus of control and sexual behavior. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique. Processing data using non-parametric statistical analysis contingency coefficient with 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed a contingency coefficient of 2:02, while X ² 3; 0.05 = 7.81 so X ² <X ² 1; 0.05, ie 2:02 <3.84, meaning that there is no significant correlation between the locus of control with the sexual behavior of students class XI SMA Pasundan 1 Bandung Year 2013/2014. Research recommendations can be carried out development locus of control students become more positive and objective so as to produce a correct perception of the decision-making process in life.
