Abstract

Masalah pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah, apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada domain kognitif antara yang menggunakan media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation dengan yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dalam mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Menengah Pertama?. Adapun secara lebih rinci permasalahan dalam penelitian ini dapat dirumuskan, sebagai berikut: 1) Apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada domain kognitif aspek mengingat antara yang menggunakan media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation dengan yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dalam mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Menengah Pertama?, (2) Apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada domain kognitif aspek memahami antara yang menggunakan media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation dengan yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dalam mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Menengah Pertama?, (3) Apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada domain kognitif aspek menerapkan antara yang menggunakan media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation dengan yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dalam mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Menengah Pertama?. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design dalam bentuk pretest posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah jenis tes objektif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster sampling. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan pada domain kognitif antara yang menggunakan media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation dengan yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dalam mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Secara khusus, simpulan dalam penelitian ini dapat diuraikan sebagai berikut: (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan pada domain kognitif aspek mengingat (C1) antara yang menggunakan media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation dengan yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dalam mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Menengah Pertama, (2) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan pada domain kognitif aspek memahami (C2) antara yang menggunakan media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation dengan yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dalam mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Menengah Pertama, (3) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang signifikan pada domain kognitif aspek menerapkan (C3) antara yang menggunakan media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation dengan yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dalam mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Media Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation, Hasil Belajar The main issue of the study is whether there are any differences in student’s learning result on cognitive domain of students who use Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation media and those who use PowerPoint in social science subject in Junior High School. In more detail, the problem of the study, can be formulated as follows: 1) Is there any differences in student’s learning result on cognitive domain of remembering aspect between the students who use Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation media and those who use PowerPoint in social science subject in Junior High School?, (2) Is there any differences in student’s learning result on cognitive domain of understanding aspect between the students who use Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation media and those who use PowerPoint in social science subject in Junior High School?, (3) Is there any differences in student’s learning result on the cognitive domain of applying aspect between the students who use Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation media and PowerPoint in social science subject in Junior High School?. The method used in the study is quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design in the form of pretest and posttest. The instrument used is objective tests. The sampling technique used in the study is cluster sampling. Based on the result of the data analysis, in general, it can be concluded that there are some significant differences in student learning result on the cognitive domain between the students who use Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation media and those who use PowerPoint on social science subject in junior high school. In particular, the conclusion of the study can be described as: (1) There are some significant differences in student’s learning result on the cognitive domain of remembering aspect (C1) between the students who use Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation media and students who use PowerPoint on social science subject in Junior High School, (2) There are some significant differences in student’s learning result on cognitive domain of understanding aspect (C2) between the students who use Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation media and those who use PowerPoint on social science subject in Junior High School, (3) There are some significant differences in student’s learning result on cognitive domain of applying aspect (C3) between the students who use Aurora 3D Interactive Presentation media and those who use PowerPoint on social science subject in Junior High School.
