Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Bina Wisata Lembang. Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif di kelas X AP 1. Dimana salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa adalah kompetensi kepribadian guru. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai tingkat penguasaan kompetensi kepribadian guru, memperoleh gambaran mengenai tingkat motivasi belajar siswa, dan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dari kompetensi kepribadian guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X AP 1 SMK Bina Wisata Lembang sebanyak 42 orang yang dijadikan sebagai responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara (interview) dan penyebaran angket (kuesioner). Dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh informasi yang menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi kepribadian guru berada pada kategori sedang dan motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Dari hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran produktif di kelas X AP 1 SMK Bina Wisata Lembang. This research was conducted at SMK BinaWisataLembang. The problems that were analyzed in this researchis low of student’s motivation in productive s subject in class X AP 1. Where the one of the factors that affect student’s motivation is tecaher’s personality comptence. Therefore, this research aims to get the overview about mastery level of teacher’s personality competence, to get the overview about level of student’s motivation, and to identify wheter there is an influence of teacher’s personality competence towards student’s motivation. The method used is survey research method. Population in this study is fourty two student’s of X AP 1 SMK Bina Wisata Lembang as the respondent’s. Data collection tecniques used are interview and distributing questionnaire. And data analysis technique used in the research is simple linear regression test. Based on the result of the research, obatained information that teacher’s personalitiy competence are in the category of medium and student’s motivation are in thecategory of medium. From the result of hypothesis test that mastery level of teacher’s personality competence are principal positive effect on the level of student’s motivation in productive s subject in class X AP 1 at SMK BinaWisataLembang.
