Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masih rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik di MA Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka. Motivasi belajar merupakan dorongan untuk mencapai hasil yang baik, dan biasanya diwujudkan dalam bentuk tingkah laku belajar atau menunjukkan usaha-usaha untuk mencapai tujuan belajar. Peserta didik yang mempunyai motivasi yang kuat, akan mempunyai banyak energi untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar, sehingga akan menentukan intensitas usaha belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk :1) Menganalisis perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen 1 dengan kelas eksperimen 2, 2) Menganalisis perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen 1 dengan kelas kontrol, 3) Menganalisis perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen 2 dengan kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian The Static-Group Comparison. Dua kelompok dipilih, satu diantaranya menerima perlakuan dan satu yang lain tidak menerima perlakuan. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media flash dalam pembelajaran geografi, variabel terikat adalah motivasi belajar peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MA Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka. Sampel dibagi dalam tiga kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen 1 mendapat perlakuan dengan menggunakan media flash, kelompok eksperimen 2 mendapat perlakuan dengan menggunakan media powerpoint, dan kelompok kontrol tidak mendapatkan perlakuan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbentuk tes, tugas dan pedoman observasi. Teknik analisis data digunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa :1) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Geografi di kelas eksperimen 1 dengan kelas eskperimen 2 yang artinya bahwa hipotesis penelitian (H1) 1 diterima, 2) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Geografi di kelas eksperimen 1 dengan kelas kontrol yang artinya bahwa hipotesis penelitian (H1) 2 diterima, 3) Terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Geografi di kelas eksperimen 2 dengan kelas kontrol yang artinya hipotesis penelitian (H1) 3 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media flash dalam pembelajaran geografi berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka. Kata Kunci : Media Flash, Motivasi Belajar This research is motivated the low motivation of learners in MA Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka. Motivation to learn is the drive to achieve good results, and is usually manifested in the form of learned behavior or demonstrate efforts to achieve the learning objectives. Learners who have a strong motivation, will have plenty of energy to perform learning activities, which will determine the intensity of the effort to learn. The purpose of this study was to: 1) Analyze the differences in learning motivation of students in the experimental class 1 to class 2 experiments, 2) to analyze the differences of learners 'learning motivation experimental class 1 to class control, 3) to analyze the differences of learners' learning motivation experimental class 2 to class control. The method used is an experimental method to the study design The Static-Group Comparison. Two selected groups, one of which received the treatment and the other one did not receive treatment. The independent variable in this study is the use of flash media in teaching geography, the dependent variable is the motivation of learners. The population in this study were students of class X MA Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka. Samples were divided into three groups, namely group 1 received experimental treatment using flash media, experimental group 2 received treatment using powerpoint media, and the control group did not receive treatment. The instrument used in this study form tests, assignments and observation. Data analysis techniques used t test. The results showed that: 1) There are differences in the motivation of learners in geography subjects in the experimental class 1 to class 2, which means that the experiment the research hypothesis (H1) received 1, 2) There are differences in the motivation of learners in the subject of Geography at experimental class 1 to class control, which means that the hypothesis (H1) received 2, 3) There are differences in the motivation of learners in geography subjects in the experimental class 2 to class controls the means of research hypothesis (H1) 3 is accepted. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the use of flash media in teaching geography affect the motivation of learners in Madrasah Aliyah Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka.
