Abstract
Salah satu kawasan konservasi tumbuhan secara ex-situ adalah Kebun Raya Cibodas yang merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata unggulan di Kabupaten Cianjur. Sebagai kawasan konservasi dan wisata, pengelola Kebun Raya Cibodas harus dapat menyelaraskan fungsi konservasi dan wisata ini, dimana wisatawan dapat berwisata dengan nyaman dan pelestarian tumbuhan dapat berjalan dengan baik, jangan sampai jumlah pengunjung melebihi kapasitas daya dukung, karena dapat berakibat pada rusaknya lingkungan konservasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai daya dukung wisata Kebun Raya Cibodas, yaitu jumlah maksimum wisatawan yang dapat ditampung oleh Kebun Raya Cibodas dengan mempertimbangkan aspek fisik, lingkungan serta manajemennya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif, dengan teknik pengolahan data menggunakan metode Cifuentes, yakni dengan menghitung daya dukung fisik (PCC), daya dukung riil (RCC) dan daya dukung efektif (ECC). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka didapatkan nilai daya dukung fisik adalah 7.148, daya dukung riil sebesar 593 dan daya dukung efektif sebesar 549. Maka dengan nilai PCC > RCC > ECC, menunjukan bahwa daya dukung wisata di Kebun Raya Cibodas saat ini baik. Namun, secara aktual ketika peak season daya dukung riil Kebun Raya Cibodas telah melampaui batas dengan jumlah kunjungan dalam sehari sebesar 17.000 wisatawan, dan ketika low season daya dukung riil belum terlampaui dengan jumlah 409 wisatawan. One of ex-situ plant conservation in Indonesia is Cibodas Botanic Gardens which is one of the leading tourist destinations in Cianjur Regency. As a conservation area and tourist destination, Management of Cibodas Botanic Gardens should be able to harmonize the function of conservation and tourism, where tourists can travel comfortably and preservation of plants can run well, if the carrying capacity is over it will affected to the quality of tourism and environment too. The purpose of this study was to determine the value of Cibodas Botanic Gardens tourism carrying capacity, it is the maximum of tourists that can be accommodated by Cibodas Botanic Gardens with considered physical, ecological, and management aspects. The method used is descriptive research method and for data processing used method of Cifuentes, by calculating the physical carrying capacity (PCC), the real carrying capacity (RCC) and the effective carrying capacity (ECC). Based on the research results obtained physical carrying capacity is 7,148, the real carrying capacity is 593 and the effective carrying capacity is 549. So with the value of PCC > RCC > ECC, shows that tourism carrying capacity in Cibodas Botanic Gardens run well. However, actually when the peak season, real carrying capacity of Cibodas Botanic Gardens have exceeded, with the number of visits a day is 17.000 tourist, and when low season the real carrying capacity has not been exceeded by 409 tourist.
