Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemunculan hakikat sains pada Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Biologi SMA Negeri dan mengetahui pemahaman hakikat sains siswa di Kota Cimahi. Lembar Kerja Siswa yang digunakan adalah LKS Biologi SMA kelas X, XI dan XII dari dua sekolah yang berbeda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Data diperoleh menggunakan lembar penilaian kemunculan tujuh komponen hakikat sains yang telah diadaptasi dari Lederman et.al (2002), sedangkan pemahaman siswa diperoleh dari lembar kuesioner. Hasil analisis LKS menunjukkan rata-rata proporsi kemunculan hakikat sains dari kedua LKS pada komponen sains bersifat empiris sebesar 55,67%; teori dan hukum dalam sains sebesar 15,16%; kreativitas dan imajinasi dalam sains sebesar 10,05%; teori laden sebesar 4,22%; sosial dan budaya yang melekat dalam sains sebesar 10,62%; mitos metode ilmiah sebesar 0,65% dan pengetahuan ilmiah bersifat tentatif sebesar 3,63%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa LKS Biologi SMA yang telah dianalisis sudah memuat ketujuh komponen hakikat sains, sedangkan hasil jawaban kuesioner pemahaman hakikat sains siswa menunjukkan pemahaman yang rendah. Analysis of Senior High School Biology Worksheet in Cimahi City based on Nature of Science The aim of this research is to analyze the emergence of the nature of science on senior high school biology worksheet and to know the student comprehension of the nature of science in Cimahi City. The worksheet that used in this research is senior high school biology worksheet grade 10, 11 and 12 from two different school. The method was used in this research is descriptif. The data was obtained using assesment sheet of seven elements of nature of science that adapted from Lederman et.al (2002), while the student comprehension using quesioner sheet. The average proportions of the emergence of the nature on science from the both of the worksheet is: the empirical nature of science knowledge was 55,67%, scientific theories and laws was 15,16%; the creative and imajinative nature of scientific knowledge was 10,05%; the theory Laden nature of scientific knowledge was 4,22%; the social and cultural embeddedness of sciencetific knowledge was 10,62%; myth of scientific methods was 0,65%; the tentative nature of scientific knowledge was 3,63%. The result show that senior high school biology worksheet was include the seven elements of the nature of science, while the student quesioner of nature on science show the low comprehension.
