Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan berdasarkan pada studi pendahuluan di SMAN 12 Tangerang yang menunjukkan cukup tingginya tuntutan sekolah yang mencakup (1) tuntutan materi akademis sekolah berupa materi umum dan kewirausahaan; (2) tuntutan adaptasi dari peserta didik terhadap lingkungan sekolah; (3) munculnya kekhawatiran atas tingginya harapan orang tua setelah lulus SMA; dan belum adanya program khusus berupa program bimbingan pribadi untuk peningkatan kemandirian peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian adalah menghasilkan program bimbingan pribadi yang efektif untuk peningkatan kemandirian peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengacu pada sampling purposive atau subyek bertujuan. Partisipan adalah peserta didik kelas XI Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 60 peserta didik yang terdiri dari kelompok kelas eksperimen berjumlah 30 peserta didik (8 laki-laki dan 22 wanita) dan kelompok kelas kontrol berjumlah 30 peserta didik (10 laki-laki dan 20 wanita). Alat pengumpul data berupa angket kemandirian. Analisis data menggunakan statistik inferensial dengan teknik uji-t atau t-test. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah program bimbingan pribadi efektif untuk peningkatan kemandirian peserta didik. Penelitian merekomendasikan program bimbingan pribadi menjadi acuan dan pedoman untuk peningkatan kemandirian peserta didik. Kata Kunci: Kemandirian, Program Bimbingan Pribadi, Peserta didik. The experiment was conducted based on a preliminary study in SMAN 12 Tangerang which showed quite high demands of schools that include (1) the demands of school academic material in the form of common materials and entrepreneurship; (2) the demands adaptation of learners to the school environment; (3) the emergence of concerns over the high expectations of parents after graduating from high school; and the absence of special programs such as private tutoring programs to increase the independence of learners. The purpose of research is to produce effective personal guidance program to increase the independence of learners. The method used is a quasi experimental design with non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique refers to a purposive sampling or subject aims. Subjects were students of class XI in the school year 2013/2014 as many as 60 students consisting of a group of experimental classes totaling 30 students (8 male and 22 female) and grade control group were 30 students (10 male and 20 women). Data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire independence. Analysis of data using inferential statistical techniques t-test. The results obtained are effective personal guidance program to increase the independence of learners. The study recommends a reference program of personal guidance and guidelines to enhance the independence of learners. Keywords: Independence, Personal Guidance Program, Learners.
