Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan teknik LOVOS (Latihan Olah Vokal dan Olah Sukma) dalam pembelajaran musikalisasi puisi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) bagaimanakah kemampuan siswa SMA kelas X dalam pembelajaran musikalisasi puisi sebelum diterapkan teknik LOVOS?; (2) bagaimanakah kemampuan siswa SMA kelas X dalam pembelajaran musikalisasi puisi sesudah diterapkan teknik LOVOS?; dan (3) bagaimanakah pengaruh teknik LOVOS terhadap kemampuan siswa SMA kelas X dalam pembelajaran musikalisasi puisi? Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan terdapat perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara kemampuan siswa bermusikalisasi puisi dengan diterapkan teknik LOVOS di kelas eksperimen. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perolehan hasil = 58,64 yang lebih besar dari = 3,591. Dengan demikian, teknik LOVOS efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 dalam pembelajaran musikalisasi puisi The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of LOVOS’s technique (Vocal and Soul exercises) in learning musical poetry. There are several questions that were going to be answered by this study: 1) How is the capability of the students in musical poetry learning before applied LOVOS’s technique? 2) How is the capability of the students in musical poetry learning after applied LOVOS’s technique? 3) How is the effectiveness of LOVOS’s technique in musical poetry learning? The design of this research study is using one group pretest posttest. The findings of this study showed the significant difference between the ability of musical poetry of the students of the experiment class who apply LOVOS’s technique in their musical poetry. It could be seen from the value of thitung= 58,64 which is higher than the value of ttabel = 3,591. From the findings, it could be concluded that LOVOS’s technique is effective in enhancing Class X students of SMAN 2 Bandung Year 2013/2014 ability in musical poetry learning.
