Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran human relations dan kepuasan kerja serta mengetahui adakah pengaruh positif human relations terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada bagian logistik di PT BADJATEX Bandung. Kajian penelitian ini mengacu pada teori perilaku organisasi dalam perspektif psikologis yang menghubungkan dua variabel, yaitu variabel human relations dengan indikator: (1) kebutuhan untuk bekerja sama; (2) kesiapan mental; (3) pengendalian emosional; (4) latar belakang budaya. Dan variabel kepuasan kerja dengan indikator: (1) moral kerja; (2) kedisiplinan; (3) prestasi kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket menggunakan skala pengukuran rating scale. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan pada bagian logistik di PT BADJATEX Bandung dengan hasil perhitungan, maka ukuran sampel adalah sebanyak 57 orang karyawan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan informasi bahwa human relations berada pada kategori cukup efektif, begitu juga dengan kepuasan kerja karyawan yang berada pada kategori cukup. Pada uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa human relations berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada bagian logistik di PT BADJATEX Bandung. This research aims to collect the image of human relations and job satisfaction and to find out whether there is a positive effect of human relations toward job satisfaction of the logistics department employees in PT BADJATEX Bandung. The knowledge of this study refers to the theory of organisation act in psychology perspective which connects two variables, they are; human relations with indicators (1) need of working together (2) mental readiness (3) emotion control (4) cultural background, and variable of job satisfaction with indicators; (1) morale (2) discipline (3) work achievement. The research method which is used is explanatory survey with data-collecting technique by spreading questionnaires using rating scale. The population in this research are all employees of logistics department in PT BADJATEX Bandung with the result of calculation, hence the sample are 57 employees. Data analysis technique which is used in this research is regression simple linear test. The result of data analysis shows an information that human relations is at the quite effective category and so is job satisfaction, which is also at the quite adequate category. In this research, at the hypothesis test, shows that human relations have significant influence towards job satisfaction of the logistics department employees in PT BADJATEX Bandung.
