Abstract
Perilaku seksual sehat adalah tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari perkembangan seksualitas remaja yang dapat dicapai secara lebih optimal apabila remaja memiliki pemahaman yang baik mengenai perilaku seksual sehat. Perilaku seksual tidak sehat yang terjadi pada remaja saat ini sangat memprihatinkan. Fenomena tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat remaja putri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji secara empirik efektivitas teknik assertive training untuk meningkatkan pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat siswi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan harapan memperoleh data mengenai gambaran umum pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat siswi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimen, dengan desain Pratest-Postest One Group. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat remaja putri dengan sampel sebanyak 16 siswi kelas XI di SMA Laboratorium (Percontohan) UPI Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat siswi pada umumnya berada pada kategori sedang; (2) penggunaan teknik assertive training dirancang berdasarkan item soal angket pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat remaja putri dengan ketercapaian rendah; (3) penggunaan teknik assertive training efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat siswi karena menunjukan adanya perubahan hasil dari pre-test ke hasil post-test. Rekomendasi penelitian ditujukan bagi: (1) Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling, diharapkan dapat menggunakan teknik assertive training untuk meningkatkan pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat siswi; (2) Peneliti selanjutnya, diharapkan dapat memperkaya sumber rujukan mengenai teknik yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman perilaku seksual sehat siswi. Healthy sexual behaviors are the objectives which are wanted to be accomplished from the sexual development of teenager that can be optimally achieved if young women have a good understanding of healthy sexual behavior. Teenager’s unhealthy sexual behaviors which happen recently are very al arming. This phenomenon leads the researcher to conduct a research about the understanding of healthy sexual behavior of young women. The study aims to examine the effectiveness of assertive training technique empirically, in order to improve student’ understanding of healthy sexual behavior. The study used a quantitative approach, which was expected to get the general views of the understanding of healthy sexual behavior of female students. The method used was a pre-experiment, by using the design of Pratest-Posttest One Group. The data were collected using questionnaires about young women’ understanding of healthy sexual behavior, which involved samples of 16 female high scholers grade XI from SMA Laboratorium (Percontohan) UPI Bandung. The results showed; (1) Generally, the understanding of healthy sexual behavior of female students was in the middle category; (2) the use of assertive training techniques designed based on the instrument of young women’ understanding of healthy sexual behavior showed the low achievement; (3) the use of assertive training techniques was effective to improve students’ understanding of healthy sexual behavior, because it showed the changes from pre-test results to post-test results. The recommendations of the research refer to; (1) Teachers of Guidance and Counseling are hoped to be able to use the assertive training techniques to improve students’ understanding of healthy sexual behavior; (2) The further researchers are also expected to enrich the theories about the techniques that can be used to improve students’ understanding of healthy sexual behavior.
