Abstract
Tradisi Makan Bajamba merupakan salah satu wisata gastronomi budaya di Nagari Jawi-Jawi, Kabupaten Solok, yang memiliki nilai sejarah dan kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi komponen gastronomi dalam Tradisi Makan Bajamba serta menganalisis faktor keberhasilan pengembangannya sebagai wisata gastronomi. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan pemerintah nagari, Pokdarwis, dan pemuka adat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tradisi Makan Bajamba mengandung unsur gastronomi yang kuat, meliputi komposisi menu, teknik pengolahan, tata penyajian, serta nilai budaya. Implementasi pengembangannya telah mulai berjalan melalui pelibatan masyarakat dan penyelenggaraan paket wisata budaya, namun masih memerlukan penguatan pada aspek promosi digital, standarisasi pelayanan, dan fasilitas pendukung. Secara keseluruhan, Tradisi Makan Bajamba memiliki peluang besar menjadi wisata gastronomi unggulan apabila dikembangkan lebih profesional dan berkelanjutan. The Bajamba Eating Tradition is one of the cultural gastronomic tourism in Nagari Jawi-Jawi, Solok Regency, which holds historical value and local wisdom. This study aims to identify the gastronomic aspects contained in the Bajamba Eating Tradition and to analyze the implementation of its development as a gastronomic tourism attraction. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the nagari government, the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis), and traditional leaders. The findings show that the Bajamba Eating Tradition contains strong gastronomic elements, including menu composition, traditional processing techniques, serving arrangements, and cultural values. Its development has begun to progress through community involvement and the implementation of cultural tourism packages; however, further enhancement is needed in digital promotion, service standardization, and supporting facilities. Overall, the Bajamba Eating Tradition has great potential to become a leading gastronomic tourism attraction if developed more professionally and sustainably.
