Abstract

Motivasi merupakan aspek penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan belajar, dengan motivasi siswa dapat mengembangkan segala aktivitas, inisiatif, dan memelihara ketekunan dalam melakukan kegiatan belajar. Motivasi merupakan keadaan yang mendorong siswa untuk melakukan belajar. Tujuan Penelitian yang ingin dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik stations (learning centers) dan teknik intratask variations terhadap motivasi belajar penjas serta teknik manakah yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatakan motivasi belajar penjas dalam materi beladiri (karate). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode experiment dengan desain the pretest post-test two treatment design. Sampel experiment kelompok stations (learning centers) adalah siswa kelas X Matematika Saint 1 dan sampel kelompok experiment intratask variations siswa kelas X Matematika Saint 2 SMAN 1 Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung masing-masing sebanyak 42 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang dipilih adalah melalui angket. Angket yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah skala motivasi olahraga (sport motivation scale/SMS28) yang diberikan pada saat pretest dan posttest pada setiap kelompok eksperimen. Diperoleh kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan teknik stations (learning centers) maupun intratask variations terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dan teknik stations (learning centers) lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar penjas dari pada teknik intratask variations pada pembelajaran beladiri di kelas X SMAN1 Baleendah. Motivation is an important aspect in supporting the success of learning. By having motivation, students are able to develop various activities, initiation, and keep the perseverance in doing the learning activities. Motivation in learning is an important factor since it is a condition which encourages students to do the learning process. The aim of this research is to discover the increase of learning motivation score between pre-test and post-test score in martial art learning (karate) of the 10th grade-students by applying stations technique (learning centers) and intratask variations technique and to find out whether the more effective technique to increase Physical Education (PE) learning motivation in martial art (karate). Experimental approach -the pretest post-test twotreatmentdesign- was applied as the research method. The experiment samples of this research were 10th grade-students of Science 1 (learning centers) and science 2 (experiment intratask variations) of SMAN 1 Baleendah Kabupaten Bandung which have 42 students each. Random cluster technique was conducted as the technique of sampling yet the data was collected by using the questionnaire. From the result, it can be concluded that there is significance of students learning motivation score between the pretest and posttest in both station technique (learning centers) and intratask variations. The significance of stations technique is higher than intratask variations technique in increasing the PE learning motivation in the martial art learning in 10th grade-students of SMAN 1 Baleendah.
