Abstract

Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka diadakan penelitian mengenai pengaruh kompetensi dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada RM. Bandung Milk Centre. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh sebanyak 40 responden. Metode yang digunakan adalah SPSS 17 for windows. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, kuisioner dan studi keperpustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil kinerja karyawan. Pada variabel kompetensi terdapat indikator pencatatan standar resep memiliki nilai terendah. Pada variabel motivasi terdapat indikator lingkungan kerja memiliki nilai terendah. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan mengadakan pelatihan dalam pengolahan makanan dan minuman, memberlakukan reward and punishment terhadap karyawan dan kegiatan briefing yang dilakukan setiap hari sebelum dan setelah karyawan melakukan aktivitasnya. This type of research is descriptive research and verification. The sampling technique used was a saturated sampling by 40 respondents. The method used is SPSS 17 for windows. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires and studies literature. The results showed that the competence and work motivation variables significantly influence the performance results. In the recording indicator variables are competency standard recipe has the lowest value. In motivation variables are indicators of the work environment has the lowest value. Suggestions in this research is to provide training in food and beverage processing, reward and punishment to impose on employees and briefing activities carried out before and after employees perform every day activities.
