    Abstract

    Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat membawa dampak besar terhadap kehidupan anak-anak, termasuk dalam kebiasaan menggunakan perangkat elektronik untuk bermain game online. Game online kini menjadi aktivitas yang sangat digemari anak usia sekolah dasar karena sifatnya yang interaktif, menghibur, dan mudah diakses. Namun, penggunaan yang berlebihan dapat menurunkan frekuensi aktivitas fisik dan meningkatkan perilaku sedenter atau kebiasaan duduk dalam waktu lama. Hal ini menjadi perhatian dalam dunia pendidikan karena berdampak pada kesehatan fisik, psikologis, dan perkembangan sosial anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat aktivitas jasmani dan perilaku sedenter siswa sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Selat Nasik dalam konteks meningkatnya penggunaan game online. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas III dan V di empat sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Selat Nasik, Kabupaten Belitung, dengan jumlah total 109 siswa. Sampel sebanyak 84 siswa diperoleh melalui teknik Simple Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C) untuk aktivitas jasmani dan Adolescent Sedentary Activity Questionnaire (ASAQ) untuk perilaku sedenter. Hasil PAQ-C menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas jasmani siswa berada pada kategori “cukup” sebesar 41,7%, dengan nilai rata-rata 23,66%. Sementara itu, hasil ASAQ menunjukkan perilaku sedenter siswa berada pada kategori “tinggi”, dengan rata-rata waktu duduk 7 jam 3 menit di hari kerja dan 7 jam 40 menit di hari libur. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi bermain game online turut berkontribusi terhadap rendahnya aktivitas fisik dan tingginya perilaku sedenter. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi sekolah dan orang tua untuk mendorong keseimbangan antara aktivitas digital dan fisik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak. The rapid development of digital technology has had a major impact on children's lives, including their habits of using electronic devices to play online games. Online games have become a very popular activity among elementary school-aged children due to their interactive, entertaining, and easily accessible nature. However, excessive use can reduce the frequency of physical activity and increase sedentary behavior or prolonged sitting habits. This has become a concern in the field of education as it affects children's physical, psychological, and social development. This study aims to determine the level of physical activity and sedentary behavior among elementary school students in Selat Nasik Subdistrict in the context of increasing online game usage. The method used is quantitative descriptive with a survey approach. The study population included all third and fifth-grade students in four public elementary schools in Selat Nasik Subdistrict, Belitung District, totaling 109 students. A sample of 84 students was obtained using Simple Random Sampling. The research instruments included the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C) for physical activity and the Adolescent Sedentary Activity Questionnaire (ASAQ) for sedentary behavior. The PAQ-C results showed that students' physical activity was in the “moderate” category at 41.7%, with an average score of 23.66%. Meanwhile, the ASAQ results indicated that students' sedentary behavior was in the “high” category, with an average sitting time of 7 hours and 3 minutes on weekdays and 7 hours and 40 minutes on weekends. These findings indicate that the frequency of playing online games contributes to low physical activity and high sedentary behavior. Therefore, it is important for schools and parents to encourage a balance between digital and physical activities in children's daily lives.
