Abstract
Fenomena kriminalisasi guru yang viral di media sosial TikTok mencerminkan ketegangan antara peran pendidik, murid, dan masyarakat dalam konteks digital yang serba cepat. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya kasus guru yang diposisikan sebagai pelaku kekerasan melalui pemberitaan sepihak tanpa klarifikasi memadai, yang kemudian memicu respons masif dari netizen. Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut, penelitian ini merumuskan tiga pertanyaan utama : (1) Bagaimana struktur teks dalam komentar netizen pada konten TikTok dikonstruksikan secara linguistik dan retoris? (2) Bagaimana bentuk kognisi sosial netizen dalam memahami dan memaknai kasus kriminalisasi guru? (3) Bagaimana konteks sosial masyarakat memengaruhi dan dipengaruhi oleh wacana yang berkembang? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara kritis wacana digital dalam komentar netizen terhadap tiga kasus viral guru, yaitu kasus Ibu Supriyani di Konawe Selatan, Ibu Khusnul Khotimah di Jombang, dan guru SMK Negeri 12 Kota Malang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode Analisis Wacana Kritis Teun A. van Dijk, yang meliputi tiga dimensi utama: struktur teks, kognisi sosial, dan konteks sosial. Data diperoleh melalui observasi digital, studi dokumentasi konten TikTok, serta wawancara mendalam dengan guru, netizen, dan pengunggah konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komentar netizen banyak dikonstruksi secara ekspresif, emosional, dan argumentatif. didominasi oleh opini yang membandingkan sistem pendidikan dulu dan sekarang, serta mengandung bias terhadap posisi guru. Kognisi sosial netizen terbentuk dari pengalaman kolektif, media, dan konstruksi sosial yang berkembang. Sementara itu, konteks sosial menunjukkan adanya ketimpangan ruang klarifikasi bagi guru, serta pergeseran nilai hormat akibat perubahan karakteristik peserta didik di era digital. Kesimpulannya, media sosial TikTok menjadi ruang reproduksi wacana yang memperkuat atau mendistorsi makna keadilan dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya penguatan literasi digital dan pembaruan kebijakan perlindungan guru dalam konteks media sosial. Kata Kunci: Wacana Kritis, TikTok, Kriminalisasi Guru, The phenomenon of teacher criminalization that has gone viral on TikTok social media reflects the tension between the roles of educators, students, and society in a fast-paced digital context. This research was motivated by the rampant cases of teachers who were positioned as perpetrators of violence through unilateral reporting without adequate clarification, which then triggered a massive response from netizens. Based on this phenomenon, this study formulated three main questions: (1) How is the text structure in netizens' comments on TikTok content constructed linguistically and rhetorically? (2) What is the form of social cognition of netizens in understanding and interpreting the case of criminalization of teachers? (3) How does the social context of society influence and be influenced by the evolving discourse? This study aims to critically examine the digital discourse in netizens' comments on three viral cases of teachers, namely the case of Mrs. Supriyani in South Konawe, Mrs. Khusnul Khotimah in Jombang, and teachers of SMK Negeri 12 Malang City. The approach used is qualitative descriptive with the Teun A. van Dijk Critical Discourse Analysis method, which includes three main dimensions: text structure, social cognition, and social context. Data was obtained through digital observations, TikTok content documentation studies, and in-depth interviews with teachers, netizens, and content uploaders. The results of the study show that netizens' comments are mostly rhetorically and emotionally constructed, dominated by opinions that compare the education system past and present, and contain biases against the position of teachers. Netizens' social cognition is formed from collective experiences, media, and developing social constructions. Meanwhile, the social context shows that there is an imbalance in the clarification space for teachers, as well as a shift in respect values due to changes in the characteristics of students in the digital era. In conclusion, TikTok social media is a space for reproducing discourses that strengthen or distort the meaning of justice in the world of education. This study recommends the importance of strengthening digital literacy and updating teacher protection policies in the context of social media.
