    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan penemuan saat melakukan program Kampus Mengajar di salah satu sekolah dasar daerah kecamatan Mangkubumi yakni terjadinya perilaku sosial yang kurang pantas dimana peserta didik dalam berkomunikasi dengan sesama kawannya menggunakan bahasa yang tidak santun ketika bermain game online. Hal tersebut dirasa tidak sesuai dengan posisi peserta didik sebagai seorang murid serta pembicaraan dengan bahasa yang tidak santun tersebut diucapkan di lingkungan sekolah. adanya fenomena tersebut peneliti ingin mengetahui secara lebih dalam mengenai bagaimana ketidaksantunan berbahasa peserta didik dalam bermain game mobile legend bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik peserta didik pemain game online mobile legend serta menganalisis bentuk-bentuk ketidaksantunan berbahasa yang muncul dalam interaksi mereka saat bermain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap peserta didik sekolah dasar yang aktif bermain game mobile legend. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik memainkan game mobile legend dengan intensitas bermain rata-rata 1 hingga 2 jam per hari, bahkan ada yang mencapai 4 jam. Pola bermain mereka cenderung dilakukan secara langsung bersama teman sebaya, sehingga menimbulkan ruang komunikasi aktif yang kerap disertai penggunaan bahasa tidak santun. Serta bentuk ketidaksantunan yang paling dominan adalah ketidaksantunan secara langsung (bald on record impoliteness), ketidaksantunan negatif (negative impoliteness), dan ketidaksantunan positif (positive impoliteness). Strategi ini sering diwujudkan melalui kata-kata umpatan bernuansa penghinaan, ejekan, serta tindakan verbal yang merendahkan atau menakut-nakuti lawan bermain. This research is motivated by the discovery during the "Kampus Mengajar" program in one of the elementary schools in the Mangkubumi sub-district, namely the occurrence of inappropriate social behavior where students communicate with their friends using impolite language when playing online games. This is felt to be inappropriate for the students' position as students and the conversation with impolite language is spoken in the school environment. With this phenomenon, the researcher wanted to know more deeply about how students' language impoliteness in playing the Mobile Legend game aims to describe the characteristics of students who play the Mobile Legend online game and analyze the forms of language impoliteness that appear in their interactions while playing. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques carried out through observation and interviews with elementary school students who actively play Mobile Legend games. The results of the study show that students play Mobile Legend games with an average playing intensity of 1 to 2 hours per day, some even reaching 4 hours. Their playing patterns tend to be done directly with peers, thus creating an active communication space that is often accompanied by the use of impolite language. The most dominant forms of impoliteness are direct impoliteness (bald on record impoliteness), negative impoliteness (negative impoliteness), and positive impoliteness. These strategies often manifest through insulting swear words, teasing, and verbal actions that demean or intimidate opponents.
