Abstract
ABSTRAK Tingginya angka kecelakaan kerja di Indonesia menunjukkan masih rendahnya penerapan budaya Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di berbagai sektor industri. PT Kimia Farma Plant Banjaran sebagai perusahaan farmasi menghadapi tantangan serupa, sehingga diperlukan upaya pelatihan yang tidak hanya mentransfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga membentuk perilaku kerja aman. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan adalah model pelatihan berbasis masalah (Problem-Based Learning/PBL) yang mengaitkan materi dengan pengalaman nyata karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan model pelatihan K3 berbasis masalah dalam membangun budaya keselamatan kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap karyawan, instruktur, serta supervisor pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan berbasis masalah meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif peserta, mendorong pemanfaatan pengalaman kerja sebagai sumber belajar, serta memperkuat motivasi dan kepercayaan diri dalam menerapkan prinsip K3. Faktor pendukung implementasi meliputi desain pelatihan yang relevan, dukungan instruktur, serta lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Namun, hambatan masih muncul, antara lain perbedaan kemampuan awal peserta, keterbatasan fasilitas, dan budaya kerja lama yang sulit diubah. Dengan demikian, model pelatihan berbasis masalah efektif untuk memperkuat budaya K3 apabila disertai dukungan berkelanjutan dari perusahaan dan strategi pengawasan yang konsisten. Kata kunci: Pelatihan K3, Problem-Based Learning, Budaya Keselamatan Kerja ABSTRACT The high rate of workplace accidents in Indonesia reflects the insufficient implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) culture across various industries. PT Kimia Farma Plant Banjaran, as a national pharmaceutical company, faces similar challenges, thus requiring training programs that not only transfer knowledge but also foster safe work behaviors. One approach adopted is the problem-based learning (PBL) model, which links training materials with employees’ real work experiences.This study aims to analyze the impact of applying the PBL-based OSH training model in building a safety culture. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving employees, instructors, and supervisors.The findings reveal that problem-based training enhanced participants’ active engagement, encouraged the use of workplace experiences as learning resources, and strengthened motivation and self-confidence in applying OSH principles. Supporting factors included relevant training design, instructor guidance, and a conducive work environment. However, several obstacles were identified, such as differences in participants’ initial abilities, limited facilities, and resistance from entrenched workplace habits. In conclusion, the PBL-based training model is effective in strengthening the OSH culture when accompanied by continuous organizational support and consistent monitoring strategies.
