    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan peserta didik dalam menuangkan ide, gagasan, dan perasaan melalui puisi. Keterampilan menulis puisi dianggap sebagai salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang kompleks dan menantang. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan mempermudah siswa dalam menuangkan ide. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh teknik akrostik berbasis tema makanan tradisional terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan one group Pretest-Posttest design. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah 30 peserta didik kelas V di SDN Pasirmalang, Kecamatan Cigalontang, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Keterampilan menulis puisi diukur melalui rubrik penilaian pada Pretest dan Posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik akrostik berbasis tema makanan tradisional memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui rata-rata skor Posttest yang meningkat menjadi 17.23 dari skor Pretest 9.80. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (p < 0.05), yang membuktikan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan antara hasil Pretest dan Posttest. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik akrostik berbasis tema makanan tradisional efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi peserta didik sekolah dasar. This research is motivated by the difficulties students face in expressing ideas, thoughts, and feelings through poetry. The skill of writing poetry is considered one of the complex and challenging language skills. Therefore, a learning method is needed that can increase motivation and make it easier for students to express their ideas. This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of the traditional food-themed acrostic technique on students' poetry writing skills.The research method used was a pre-experiment with a one group Pretest-Posttest design. The subjects of the study were 30 fifth-grade students at SDN Pasirmalang, Cigalontang District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Poetry writing skills were measured through an assessment rubric on the Pretest and Posttest.The results show that the traditional food-themed acrostic technique has a significant positive impact on poetry writing skills. This is evidenced by the average Posttest score increasing to 17.23 from the Pretest score of 9.80. The Wilcoxon test results indicate a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which proves a significant average difference between the Pretest and Posttest results. Thus, it can be concluded that the traditional food-themed acrostic technique is effective in improving the poetry writing skills of elementary school students.
