ABSTRAK
Indonesia
memiliki beberapa catatan sejarah misalnya dimulai dari zaman
masuknya kerajaan Hindu, kerajaan Islam, masa Kolonial atau masa Kemerdekaan.
Dari keempat masa itu yang menarik adalah zaman menjelang Kemerdekaan, Di
masa menjelang kemerdekaan terjadi bebera
pa proses ini harus dialami bangsa
Indonesia, salah satunya
Peristiwa Rengasdengklok
dimana
peristiwa penculikan
yang dilakukan sejumlah pemuda terhadap Presiden pertama Republik Indonesia
Soekarno atau yang lebih dikenal Bung Karno.

diasingkan di rumah Djiaw Kie Siong.
Akan tetapi peristiwa sejarah yang seharusnya
selalu di kenang
oleh masyarakat
sekarang sudah mulai terlupakan, terlihat dari
banyaknya coretan bangunan peninggalan bersejarah yang ada di Rengasdengklok
tersebu
t sekarang sudah tidak terawat.
Maka dari itu penulis m
engambil
objek Tugu
Proklamasi Rengasdengklok bertujuan mengingatkan kembali kepada masyarakat
agar menjaga peninggalan bersejarah tersebut
dengan mengolah objek Tugu
Proklamasi Rengasdengklok dalam be
ntuk karya seni grafis dengan mengunakan
teknik cetak saring (
screen printing
). Pembuatan karya dilakukan melalui tahapan
-
tahapan berkarya yaitu Pencarian ide dan konsep karya yang akan dibuat. Langkah
berikutnya adalah kontemplasi untuk lebih menguatkan k
onsep sehingga dapat
menarik sebuah nilai yang terkandung didalam karya dengan menambahkan observasi
langsung ke tempat objek tersebut berada untuk lebih mendapat detail baik secara
bentuk maupun secara historis. Ide yang telah dimatangkan secara konsep d
an nilai
kemudian diolah dalam bentuk sketsa dan dimaksimalkan dalam
computer
dengan
menggunakan
software
grafis. Barulah melakukan pembuatan karya secara utuh dari
mulai menyiapkan alat dan bahan hingga proses pembuatan karya grafis dengan
teknik cetak sa
ring (
screen printing
). Karya yang dibuat sebanyak enam buah karya
yang masing masing judulnya adalah

tujuan, Semangat perjuangan, Bangsa yang baik adalah bangsa yang menghargai
sejarahnya dan Tempat bersajarah.
Proses memvisualisasikan objek menjadi karya
grafis melalui beberapa langkah yaitu persiapan alat bahan, menjiplak rancangan
gambar, melapisi
screen
dengan lem, pengeringan lem, proses penyablonan
, dan
terakhir adalah proses finishing dengan membingkai
karya tersebutIndonesia has some of the historical record, for example starting from the time of entry of the Hindu kingdoms, the Islamic empire, colonial past or future independence. However, the events of history that should always be remembered by the community is now beginning to be forgotten, evidenced by the graffiti heritage buildings that exist in the Rengasdengklok now not maintained. Thus the authors take aim Rengasdengklok Proclamation Monument objects remind the public to maintain the heritage objects by processing Rengasdengklok Proclamation Monument in the form of graphic artwork by using the technique of screen printing (screen printing). Making the work done through the stages of work that is search of ideas and concepts that work will be made. The next step is to further strengthen the concept of contemplation that can pull a value that is contained in the works by adding direct observation to where the object is to be received either in the form of detailed and historically. The idea has been matured are concepts and values are then processed in the form of sketches and maximized in the computer using graphics software. Only then did the making of the work as a whole started to prepare tools and materials to the process of making a graphic work with screen printing techniques (screen printing). Works made as many as six pieces of work that each title is a figure Proclaimers, personal interests, one purpose, spirit of struggle, a good nation is a nation that respects its history and place historic. Matured process graphic objects into works through several steps: preparing the tool material, tracing the design drawing, coating the screen with glue, glue drying, Serigraphy process, and the last is the finishing process by framing the work.
