    Abstract

    Cushion foundation adalah inovasi makeup yang menggabungkan kepraktisan kemasan compact dengan formula foundation cair yang ringan dan mudah diaplikasikan. Produk ini menjadi pilihan beauty enthusiast karena memberikan hasil akhir yang natural, tingkat coverage, serta kandungan skincare seperti tabir surya (SPF) dan antioksidan yang turut merawat kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi beauty enthusiast terhadap cushion foundation, baik dari segi pemilihan produk, definisi, komponen, dan teknik pengaplikasian, hingga manfaat yang dirasakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei kepada responden yang menggunakan produk cushion foundation. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas responden memprioritaskan keamanan produk, mengaplikasikan cushion dengan puff bawaan serta pengaplikasian menggunakan teknik tap-tap, dan sangat memperhatikan kandungan SPF dan antioksidan sebagai perlindungan kulit. Cushion foundation dianggap sebagai produk makeup multifungsi yang praktis dan efektif dalam menunjang penampilan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan bagi pengguna dalam memilih kosmetika cushion foundation. Cushion foundation is a makeup innovation that combines the practicality of compact packaging with a lightweight liquid foundation formula that is easy to apply. This product has become a favorite among beauty enthusiasts as it provides a natural finish, buildable coverage, and skincare benefits such as sunscreen (SPF) and antioxidants that help care for the skin. This study aims to examine beauty enthusiasts’ perceptions of cushion foundation in terms of product selection, definition, components, ingredients, application techniques, and perceived benefits. Data were collected through a survey of respondents who use cushion foundation. The findings show that most respondents prioritize the safety and composition of ingredients, apply cushion foundation using the built-in puff with a tap-tap technique, and place high importance on SPF and antioxidant content as skin protection. Cushion foundation is perceived as a multifunctional makeup product that is practical and effective for supporting daily appearance. This study provides guidance for users in choosing cushion foundation cosmetics.
