Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya konselor dalam membangun kepercayaan diri anak korban kekerasan seksual di DP2KBP3A Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam kepada tiga orang konselor berlatar belakang psikologi yang menangani kasus anak korban kekerasan seksual. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konselor menerapkan pendekatan yang adaptif dan kontekstual, memanfaatkan sarana konseling seperti media bermain, gambar, dan kartu emosi, serta menjalin kolaborasi lintas sektor untuk mendukung pemulihan anak. Proses konseling berkontribusi pada peningkatan kepercayaan diri anak yang ditandai dengan keberanian bersosialisasi, mengungkapkan pendapat, dan mengelola emosi. Faktor pendukung mencakup hubungan terapeutik yang empatik, keterlibatan keluarga, serta dukungan sumber daya eksternal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kelembagaan dalam bentuk fasilitas, pelatihan, dan tenaga profesional guna meningkatkan efektivitas pendampingan. This study aims to describe counselors’ efforts in building the self-confidence of child victims of sexual violence at DP2KBP3A in West Bandung Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with three counselors with psychology backgrounds who handled cases involving child victims of sexual violence. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that counselors applied adaptive and contextual approaches, utilized counseling media such as play materials, drawings, and emotion cards, and established cross-sector collaboration to support children’s recovery. The counseling process contributed to the improvement of children’s self-confidence, marked by their increased willingness to socialize, express opinions, and manage emotions. Supporting factors included empathetic therapeutic relationships, family involvement, and external resource support. The study recommends strengthening institutional capacity through facilities, training, and professional staff to enhance the effectiveness of counseling.
