Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa buku pop-up yang mengangkat tema budaya lokal dengan fokus materi kesenian batik dan anyaman dalam upaya memfasilitasi kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Educational Design Reseach (EDR) model Reeves dengan melalui empat tahap penelitian, yaitu: identifikasi masalah, pengembangan solusi, uji coba berulang dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan anak usia 4-5 tahun di salah satu PAUD Tasikmalaya tepatnya di TK Assalam. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, validasi ahli (materi dan media), serta uji coba penggunaan media. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket validasi, lembar observasi penggunaan media buku pop up untuk kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari validasi ahli menunjukan bahwa media storybook pop up dinyatakan layak tanpa revisi untuk di uji coba. Hasil uji coba tahap I menunjukan adanya ketidaktuntasan pada salah satu indikator kognitif C1, sehingga dilakukan revisi minor. Setelah dilakukan revsi, uji coba tahap II menunjukan peningkatan ketercapaian kemampuan kognitif dengan persentase capaian indikator berada pada rentang 87%-93%. Dengan demikian, media dinyatakan dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini pada ranah mengingat (C1), memahami (C2), dan menerapkan (C3) sesuai dengan taksonomi bloom revisi. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of pop-up books that raise the theme of local culture with a focus on batik and woven art materials in an effort to facilitate the cognitive abilities of early childhood. The method used in this study is the Reeves Educational Design Research (EDR) model through four stages of research, namely: problem identification, solution development, repeated trials and reflection. The subjects in this study were children aged 4-5 years in one of the Tsikmalaya PAUD. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, documentation studies, expert validation (materials and media), and trials of media use. The instruments used included validation questionnaires, cognitive achievement observation sheets, and documentation. The results of expert validation showed that the pop-up storybook media was declared feasible without revision for testing. The results of the first phase of the trial showed that there was incompleteness in one of the cognitive indicators C1, so a minor revision was made. After the revision, the second phase of the trial showed an increase in the achievement of cognitive abilities with the percentage of indicator achievement in the range of 87% -93%. Thus, the media is stated to be able to facilitate the cognitive abilities of early childhood in the domains of remembering (C1), understanding (C2), and applying (C3) according to the revised Bloom taxonomy.
