    Abstract

    Bebegig Sukamantri merupakan salah satu aset budaya lokal berupa kesenian tradisional yang berasal dari Desa Sukamantri, Kabupaten Ciamis. Kesenian ini masih dilestarikan dan dijunjung tinggi oleh masyarakat setempat. Namun, seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan arus globalisasi, eksistensi kesenian ini mulai terancam. Minimnya pengetahuan, kurangnya minat generasi muda, serta keterbatasan sumber informasi dan literasi menyebabkan Bebegig Sukamantri kurang dikenal, terutama di kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahun dan apresiasi remaja terhadap kesenian Bebegig Sukamantri melalui media yang komunikatif dan menarik, yaitu berupa buku ilustrasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, kuisioner, dan studi literatur dari buku, jurnal, artikel, skripsi, dan lain-lain. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis 5W+1H (what, who, when, where, why, dan how). Proses perancangan menggunakan metode design thinking yang mencakup tahap empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah sebuah buku ilustrasi tentang Bebegig Sukamantri yang disusun dengan visual dan narasi yang informatif, edukatif, dan menarik bagi remaja. Media ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana alternatif dalam upaya melestarikan budaya lokal sekaligus menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap kesenian daerah di kalangan generasi muda. Kata Kunci: Bebegig Sukamantri, Buku Ilustrasi, Remaja Bebegig Sukamantri is one of the local cultural assets in the form of traditional arts originating from Sukamantri Village, Ciamis Regency. This art is still preserved and upheld by the local community. However, along with the rapid development of technology and globalization, the existence of this art began to be threatened. The lack of knowledge, lack of interest of the younger generation, and limited sources of information and literacy have caused Bebegig Sukamantri to be less known, especially among teenagers. This research aims to increase teenagers' knowledge and appreciation of the art of Bebegig Sukamantri through communicative and interesting media, namely in the form of illustration books. The method used is qualitative method, with data collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies from books, journals, articles, theses, and others. Data analysis was conducted using 5W+1H analysis (what, who, when, where, why, and how). The design process uses the design thinking method which includes the empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test stages. The result of this design is an illustration book about Bebegig Sukamantri that is organized with visuals and narratives that are informative, educational, and interesting for teenagers. This media is expected to be an alternative means in an effort to preserve local culture while fostering a sense of love for regional arts among the younger generation.
