Abstract
Kekerasan seksual terhadap anak merupakan permasalahan serius yang semakin marak dan berdampak luas pada aspek fisik, psikologis, sosial, maupun akademik anak. Ironisnya, kasus tersebut juga terjadi di lingkungan sekolah dasar yang seharusnya menjadi ruang aman dan nyaman bagi anak. Atas dasar itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya SD Islam Mutiara Hati Bandung dalam mencegah kekerasan seksual sekaligus menciptakan sekolah ramah anak. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran secara lebih mendalam mengenai upaya Sekolah Dasar dalam mencegah kasus kekerasan seksual dan menciptakan sekolah ramah anak dalam studi kasus di SD Islam Mutiara Hati Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Informan penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, wali kelas, psikolog sekolah, staf administrasi, staf keamanan, serta siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) Upaya SD Islam Mutiara Hati Bandung dalam mencegah kasus kekerasan seksual serta menciptakan sekolah yang aman, inklusif, dan ramah anak; (2) Strategi implementasi prinsip-prinsip sekolah ramah anak; dan (3) Faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam upaya pencegahan kekerasan seksual dan penerapan sekolah ramah anak di SD Islam Mutiara Hati Bandung. Simpulannya, upaya sekolah dasar dalam mencegah kekerasan seksual dan menciptakan sekolah ramah anak sangat dipengaruhi oleh komitmen kelembagaan dan sinergi antaraktor pendidikan, dengan implikasi bahwa perlindungan anak di sekolah memerlukan regulasi formal, dukungan sumber daya, serta partisipasi aktif orang tua. Sexual violence against children is a serious issue that is increasingly widespread and has far-reaching impacts on children’s physical, psychological, social, and academic aspects. Ironically, such cases also occur in elementary schools, which should serve as safe and comfortable spaces for children. Based on this concern, this study focuses on the efforts of SD Islam Mutiara Hati Bandung in preventing sexual violence while simultaneously creating a child-friendly school. The purpose of this study is to gain an in-depth understanding of elementary school efforts in preventing cases of sexual violence and establishing a child-friendly school through a case study at SD Islam Mutiara Hati Bandung. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research informants consisted of the principal, homeroom teachers, school psychologist, administrative staff, security staff, and students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The findings of this study are: (1) the efforts of SD Islam Mutiara Hati Bandung in preventing sexual violence and creating a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly school; (2) strategies for implementing the principles of a child-friendly school; and (3) supporting and inhibiting factors in preventing sexual violence and implementing a child-friendly school at SD Islam Mutiara Hati Bandung. In conclusion, elementary school efforts in preventing sexual violence and creating a child-friendly school are strongly influenced by institutional commitment and synergy among educational actors, with the implication that child protection in schools requires formal regulations, adequate resources, and active parental participation.
