    Abstract

    Masa remaja, periode "Storm & Stress" ditandai tantangan eksplorasi diri, transisi fisik dan psikologis. Pembentukan identitas diri krusial, dengan harga diri sebagai faktor fundamental. Harga diri tidak sehat memicu ketidaknyamanan, kesulitan hubungan sosial, dan ketakutan penolakan, mendorong remaja berinteraksi satu arah dengan figur ideal, seperti selebriti favorit. Penelitian ini mengkaji profil harga diri remaja dengan sindrom celebrity worship. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen angket harga diri yang valid dan reliabel. Purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih sampel dari siswa SMP. Hasil menunjukkan profil harga diri yang bervariasi dan kompleks. Mayoritas siswa cenderung memiliki harga diri negatif, khususnya pada tingkat Intense-Personal (IP). Ditemukan pula siswa dengan harga diri positif pada tingkat Borderline-Pathological (BP), namun diinterpretasikan sebagai mekanisme kompensasi tidak sehat atau distorsi persepsi diri. Berdasarkan temuan, disusunlah rancangan layanan bimbingan pribadi. Tujuannya adalah membantu siswa mengembangkan harga diri sehat, mengelola perilaku pengidolaan secara positif, mencegah keterikatan emosional berlebihan, serta mendukung pembentukan identitas diri yang kuat dan kemandirian emosional. Adolescence, a period often characterized by "Storm & Stress," presents significant challenges related to self-exploration and navigating physical and psychological transitions. The formation of self-identity is a critical developmental task, with self-esteem serving as a fundamental component. Unhealthy self-esteem can lead to discomfort, social difficulties, and a fear of rejection, often prompting adolescents to engage in one-sided interactions with ideal figures, such as favorite celebrities. This descriptive quantitative with survey approach study investigated the self-esteem profiles of adolescents exhibiting celebrity worship syndrome. Using purposive sampling, a valid and reliable self-esteem questionnaire was administered to junior high school students. The results revealed varied and complex self-esteem profiles. The majority of students tended to display negative self-esteem, particularly at the Intense-Personal (IP) level. Conversely, some students with positive self-esteem at the Borderline-Pathological (BP) level were also identified, though this was interpreted as an unhealthy compensatory mechanism or a distortion of self-perception. Based on these findings, a framework for personal guidance services was developed to help students cultivate healthy self-esteem, manage idolization behaviors positively, and support the development of a strong self-identity and emotional independence.
