Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya keberlanjutan usaha bagi UMKM di tengah tantangan persaingan pasar, perubahan preferensi konsumen, dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Sektor Food & Beverage (F&B) binaan Kadin Bandung menjadi fokus karena peran strategisnya dalam ekonomi lokal, namun masih banyak pelaku usaha yang kesulitan mempertahankan keberlanjutan bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran modal intelektual dan keberlanjutan usaha UMKM serta menganalisis pengaruh modal intelektual terhadap keberlanjutan usaha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan korelasional. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 80 UMKM binaan Kadin Bandung. Hasil penelitian uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa modal intelektual berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan usaha dengan kontribusi sebesar 43,6%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa hampir separuh dari variasi keberlanjutan usaha dapat dijelaskan oleh kekuatan modal intelektual yang dimiliki pelaku UMKM, yang mencakup dimensi modal manusia, modal struktural, dan modal relasional. Temuan ini juga menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan modal intelektual secara strategis menjadi faktor penting dalam mendukung keberlangsungan usaha, terutama di sektor F&B yang dinamis dan kompetitif. This research is motivated by the importance of business sustainability for MSMEs amidst market competition, shifting consumer preferences, and limited resources. The Food & Beverage (F&B) sector under the guidance of Kadin Bandung is the focus due to its strategic role in the local economy; however, many business actors still struggle to maintain sustainable operations. This study aims to examine the description of intellectual capital and business sustainability of MSMEs as well as analyze the effect of intellectual capital on business sustainability. The research method employed is quantitative with a descriptive and correlational approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 80 MSMEs under the guidance of Kadin Bandung. The statistical test results show that intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on business sustainability, with a contribution of 43.6%. These findings indicate that nearly half of the variation in business sustainability can be explained by the strength of intellectual capital owned by MSME actors, which includes human capital, structural capital, and relational capital. The results also emphasize that the strategic management of intellectual capital is a crucial factor in supporting business continuity, particularly in the dynamic and competitive F&B sector.
