Abstract
Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia sebagai lembaga Pendidikan memiliki berbagai fasilitas yang menggunakan energi listrik. Untuk mendukung kelancaran operasional kegiatan belajar dan mengajar diperlukan pasokan daya listrik yang cukup dan efisien. Dengan luasnya area kampus Bumi Siliwangi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, pasti terdapat saluran-saluran kabel dari pendistribusian gardu distribusi ke gedung-gedung tersebut yang panjang. Hal tersebut dapat memicu terjadinya peristiwa jatuh tegangan dan rugi-rugi daya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan perhitungan manual beserta simulasi menggunakan software ETAP. Hasil penelitian ini didapat bahwa gardu distribusi ini memiliki 16 tujuan gedung dengan menggunakan sistem radial satu kabel ke gedung. Lalu didapatkan persentase keseluruhan rata-rata nilai rugi-rugi daya berdasarkan kapasitas arus sebesar 4,94% dan nilai rata-rata persentase jatuh tegangan sebesar 4,49%. Jika mengikuti aturan batas toleransi yang berlaku keduanya telah memenuhi aturan yang diberikan oleh PLN. Namun jika melihat per satuan gedung terdapat beberapa gedung yang melebihi batas tersebut seperti gedung Training Center, Backup Diesel, Dormitory Female, FPMIPA Lama, FPOK, Gym WTP dan Gymnasium. Hal ini dapat terjadi dikarenakan gedung-gedung tersebut memiliki panjang jalur yang cukup panjang diiringi dengan kapasitas arus yang besar sehingga akan meningkatkan nilai dari rugi-rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan tersebut. The Indonesian University of Education, as an educational institution, has various facilities that use electrical energy. To support the smooth operation of teaching and learning activities, a sufficient and efficient supply of electrical power is required. Given the vast area of the Bumi Siliwangi campus of the Indonesian University of Education, there are certainly long cable lines from the distribution substation to the buildings. This can lead to voltage drops and power losses. The research method used involves manual calculations and simulations using ETAP software. The results of this study indicate that the distribution substation serves 16 buildings using a radial single-cable system to each building. The overall average power loss percentage based on current capacity was 4.94%, and the average voltage drop percentage was 4.49%. Both values comply with the tolerance limits set by PLN. However, when examining individual buildings, several buildings exceeded these limits, such as the Training Center, Backup Diesel, Dormitory female, FPMIPA Old, FPOK, WTP Gym, and Gymnasium. This may occur because these buildings have relatively long cable lengths combined with high current capacity, thereby increasing the values of power losses and voltage drops.
