    Abstract

    Penelitian ini menganalisis keterkaitan antara ketersediaan ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) publik dan kebutuhan oksigen di Kecamatan Payakumbuh Barat, dengan mengintegrasikan analisis spasial berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Ketersediaan RTH dianalisis menggunakan metode interpretasi citra satelit resolusi tinggi melalui digitasi dan dilakukan validasi lapangan pada semua populasi RTH Publik sebanyak 72 titik RTH Publik yang mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional Nomor 14 Tahun 2022. Estimasi kebutuhan luasan RTH berbasis oksigen dihitung menggunakan rumus Gerakis (1974) yang telah dimodifikasi Wijayanti (2003), dengan parameter konsumsi oksigen harian manusia, hewan ternak, dan kendaraan bermotor. Rekomendasi wilayah prioritas pengembangan RTH publik dilakukan melalui metode skoring dan overlay spasial, dengan mempertimbangkan peta NDVI, THI, kepadatan penduduk, analisis penggunaan lahan, harga tanah, dan perspektif masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketersediaan RTH publik sebesar 253,85 hektar (13,57% dari luas wilayah), lebih rendah dari standar minimal nasional 20% (374 hektar). Kebutuhan oksigen harian mencapai 136.797.714,65 gram, sehingga kebutuhan luasan RTH ekologis sebesar 270,36 hektar, dengan defisit 16,51 hektar dari ketersediaan aktual. Zona prioritas pengembangan RTH publik seluas 385,99 hektar teridentifikasi di kelurahan Nunang Daya Bangun, Parik Rantang, Labuah Basilang, dan Parak Batuang. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kebijakan tata ruang berbasis data spasial dan parameter ekologis untuk optimalisasi fungsi RTH di wilayah perkotaan. This study analyzes the relationship between the availability of public green open space (GOS) and oxygen requirements in Payakumbuh Barat District by integrating spatial analysis based on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The availability of GOS was assessed using high-resolution satellite imagery interpretation and manual digitization, with field validation conducted at all 72 public GOS locations according to the Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency No. 14 of 2022. The estimation of GOS area required for oxygen supply was calculated using the Gerakis (1974) formula as modified by Wijayanti (2003), incorporating daily oxygen consumption parameters for humans, livestock, and motor vehicles. Priority area recommendations for public GOS development were generated using a scoring and spatial overlay method, considering NDVI maps, THI, population density, land use analysis, land value, and community perspectives. The results show that the available public GOS covers 253.85 hectares (13.57% of the total area), which is lower than the national minimum standard of 20% (374 hectares). The total daily oxygen demand is 136,797,714.65 grams, requiring an ecological GOS area of 270.36 hectares, resulting in a deficit of 16.51 hectares from the actual availability. Priority zones for public GOS development covering 385,99 hectares were identified in the subdistricts of Nunang Daya Bangun, Parik Rantang, Labuah Basilang, and Parak Batuang. These findings emphasize the necessity of spatial data-driven and ecologically-based spatial planning policies to optimize GOS functions in urban areas.
