    Abstract

The advancement of technology in the construction sector has encouraged the adoption of digital methods in project planning and management processes. Building Information Modelling (BIM) supports the digitalization of construction through the integration of building data, scheduling, and cost estimation. A comparative case study using Autodesk Revit 2024 was conducted to analyze the volume of upper structure work between conventional methods and BIM-based approaches. The results showed differences in work volume for concrete (5.1%), reinforcement (7.73%), and formwork (2.3%). Workforce planning was carried out using the resource levelling method with Microsoft Project, resulting in a labor requirement of 207 workers during the first and second weeks over a 50-working-day duration. Cost estimation comparisons indicated a 5.06% lower budget using the BIM method. All project data were subsequently integrated into Navisworks to generate a time-based simulation of the construction work sequence.
