Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kontrol diri dan merancang rancangan layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik polyregulation emotion guna mengembangkan kontrol diri siswa. Kontrol diri penting bagi siswa untuk mengelola pikiran, emosi, dan perilaku, serta mendukung prestasi dan kesejahteraan, studi pendahuluan menunjukkan beberapa siswa kelas X SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung mengalami masalah pada kontrol diri, sehingga perlu adanya bantuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey, desain penelitian cross-sectional, dan menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 180 siswa. Instrumen yang disusun pada penelitian ini berdasarkan teori kontrol diri oleh Baumeister. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri siswa kelas X SMA Kartika Bandung XIX-2 Bandung berada pada kategori kuat, maknanya siswa mampu memiliki disiplin diri, bertindak dengan penuh pertimbangan, memiliki kebiasaan sehat, bertanggung jawab atas tugas yang diberikan, dan memiliki konsistensi yang baik. Aspek yang paling menonjol adalah aspek reliabilitas, dan diketahui berdasarkan temuan frekuensi kontrol diri wanita lebih tinggi dari pada pria. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dirumuskan rancangan layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik polyregulation emotion untuk mengembangkan kontrol diri siswa. This study aims to obtain an overview of self-control and design a group counseling service using polyregulation emotion techniques to develop students' self-control. Self-control is important for students to manage their emotions and behavior, as well as to support their achievement and well-being. Preliminary studies show that some students in class X at SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung experience issues with self-control, necessitating assistance. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, a cross-sectional research design, and non-probability sampling with saturation sampling technique. The study includes 180 students. The instruments developed in this study are based on Baumeister's theory of self-control. The results of the study indicate that the self-control of 10th grade students at SMA Kartika Bandung XIX-2 Bandung is in the strong category, meaning that students are able to have self-discipline, act with consideration, have healthy habits, take responsibility for the tasks given, and have good consistency. The most prominent aspect is reliability, and it is known based on the findings that the frequency of self-control in women is higher than in men. Based on these findings, a group counseling service design was formulated using the polyregulation emotion technique to develop students' self-control.
