Abstract
Pembangunan gedung tinggi (high-rise building) di Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah perkotaan padat penduduk, memerlukan perhatian serius terhadap desain struktur tahan gempa mengingat posisi geografis Indonesia yang rawan gempa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis kinerja struktur Gedung Hotel RA Suites Simatupang, sebuah bangunan 16 lantai di Jakarta, untuk mengevaluasi responsnya terhadap beban gempa dinamis. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan dua metode, yaitu respons spektrum dan riwayat waktu (time history). Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui nilai simpangan maksimum antar tingkat dan untuk mengetahui level kinerja struktur berdasarkan ATC – 40. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai simpangan maksimum akibat motode respons spektrum sebesar 69.867 mm untuk arah X dan 69.443 mm untuk arah Ya, sedangkan tanpa dinding geser simpangan maksimumnya meningkat menjadi 80.058 mm untuk arah X dan 111.006 mm untuk arah Y. Sementara itu, metode beban gempa metode time history menghasilkan simpangan antar tingkat maksimum akibat gempa di kota Iwate sebesar 73.85 mm untuk arah X dan 68.34 mm untuk arah Y, gempa di New Zealand 2016 sebesar 73.85 mm untuk arah X dan 68.34 mm untuk arah Y, gempa kota Tohoku sebesar 60.58 mm untuk arah X dan 59.61 mm untuk arahY. Berdasarkan evaluasi kinerja struktur menggunakan pedoman ATC-40, seluruh hasil menunjukkan bahwa Gedung Hotel RA Suites Simatupang berada pada level kinerja Immediate Occupancy (IO), yang mengindikasikan bahwa struktur bangunan memiliki ketahanan yang memadai terhadap gempa, tetap fungsional, dan aman untuk ditempati. The construction of high-rise buildings in Indonesia, particularly in densely populated urban areas, requires serious attention to earthquake-resistant structural design, given the country’s geographical location in an earthquake-prone region. Therefore, this study focuses on the performance analysis of the RA Suites Simatupang Hotel structure, a 16-story building in Jakarta, to evaluate its response to dynamic earthquake loads. The analysis was conducted using two methods: response spectrum and time history. The aim of this study is to determine the maximum interstory drift values and to assess the structural performance level based on ATC-40. The results show that the maximum interstory drift under the response spectrum method is 69.867 mm in the X-direction and 69.443 mm in the Y-direction, while without shear walls, the maximum drift increases to 80.058 mm in the X-direction and 111.006 mm in the Y-direction. Meanwhile, the time history method produces maximum interstory drifts due to the Iwate earthquake of 73.85 mm in the X-direction and 68.34 mm in the Y-direction, the 2016 New Zealand earthquake of 73.85 mm in the X-direction and 68.34 mm in the Y-direction, and the Tohoku earthquake of 60.58 mm in the X-direction and 59.61 mm in the Y-direction. Based on the structural performance evaluation using ATC-40 guidelines, all results indicate that the RA Suites Simatupang Hotel is at the Immediate Occupancy (IO) performance level, suggesting that the building’s structure has adequate earthquake resistance, remains functional, and is safe for occupancy.
