    Abstract

    Indonesia memiliki beragam kebudayaan nusantara dengan ciri khas dan daya tarik tersendiri, sekaligus merupakan nilai kebanggaan nasional bangsa Indonesia, salah satunya kebudayaan di Jawa Barat. Namun seiring berkembangnya jaman, mulailah masuk budaya asing yang dapat mempengaruhi terhadap minat masyarakat terhadap kebudayaan lokal khususnya di daerah Jawa Barat. Pusat Kebudayaan menjadi salah satu sarana yang dapat digunakan untuk sarana dan prasarana dalam menyebarkan berbagai seni dan kebudayaan lokal. Poin penting dalam perancangan pusat kebudayaan diantaranya dapat melingkupi fungsi edukasi, rekreasi dan administrasi. Perancangan Kawasan Pusat Kebudayaan Jawa Barat ini akan berlokasi di Ujung Berung dengan mengusung gaya arsitektur Neo Vernakular. Arsitektur neo vernacular merupakan pendekatan konsep dimana menerapkan nilai-nilai tradisional dan kearifan lokal dari kebudayaan setempat. Dengan penerapan tema neo vernacular diharapkan dapat mengangkat kembali kebudayaan Jawa Barat dengan nilai-nilai arsitektur Jawa Barat yang sudah mulai terkikis zaman. Kata Kunci: Pusat Seni, Budaya, Sunda, Neo-vernakuler. Indonesia has a diverse range of cultures, each with its own characteristics and appeal, which are a source of national pride for the Indonesian people, one of which is the culture of West Java. However, as time goes by, foreign cultures have begun to enter the country, which can influence people's interest in local cultures, especially in the West Java region. Cultural centers are one of the facilities that can be used to disseminate various local arts and cultures. Important points in the design of cultural centers include educational, recreational, and administrative functions. The West Java Cultural Center will be located in Ujung Berung and will feature a neo-vernacular architectural style. Neo-vernacular architecture is a conceptual approach that applies traditional values and local wisdom from the local culture. With the application of the neo-vernacular theme, it is hoped that West Javanese culture can be revived with West Javanese architectural values that have begun to erode over time.
